"This used to be my favorite Mexican restaurant, so when I visited, I asked my parents to dine here. The food was decent, but my dad and I were the only ones who had satisfactory meals. The dessert was tasty, though. Unfortunately, the service is where they really fell short, earning just one star. Our table was positioned between two others, one of which had an excellent female server. Ours, however, was a man who seemed miserable and disappeared outside for 15 minutes. During that time, no other servers checked on us, and we had to uncomfortably wait for him to return. Once back, he still took a long time to come over and check on us. When he finally brought our dessert, he left our dirty dishes on the table, making it awkward to share. We tried to communicate our needs, but he would just rush off after coming to our table. It was incredibly frustrating to see the two tables next to us receiving great service. Management really needs to ensure that all servers meet her standard. We typically leave a tip of at least 20%, but this was the first time we only left 10%."
