"I’ve ordered from Papoui’s Brick Oven Pizza countless times over the past two years. While the experience has been hit or miss, when the food is good, it’s really good. However, I’m extremely disappointed with my most recent visit—and it will be my last. Over time, we’ve put up with several issues and still given them the benefit of the doubt by ordering again.
Once, our entire order was forgotten, and after waiting two hours for delivery, we had to pick it up ourselves because the kids were starving. The order had been paid for but wasn’t even made until we called after an hour and a half. On multiple occasions, we were promised delivery within 45 minutes to an hour but didn’t receive our food until after two hours. Many orders have come missing key ingredients listed on the menu.
Tonight, we ordered two chicken dinners advertised online for about $28, a standard special price. However, we were charged $43 and informed that the special included smaller portions and no salads. Instead of simply explaining this beforehand, they removed the salads we had already prepared, which couldn’t be served or given to us afterward. This is bad business—throwing away salads rather than giving them to a loyal customer who has tolerated poor service and inconsistent quality for two years is unacceptable. Those two salads probably cost around $2, and keeping a regular customer happy after so many issues would have been priceless."
