"It may not have the volume of a JB or Manny Deli Rueben sandwich, but the care and love is truly there. From the pickled just right sauerkraut to the Russian (1000 Island) dressing. The corned beef was tender, lean and not greasy or over salty. Yes! It was tasty. This place serves real soup and crackers!! All I can say is thank you for the soup spoon and condiments. It's the little things that make you appreciate delivery. If you're looking for CHICAGO loaded fries this isn't the place. They use seasoned fries real cheddar cheese and real bacon bits with sour cream on the side. Ya gotta suffer through it, especially since they were delivered hot and with a thank you!!"

"The food was in great quantity, it fit well with the price. The food had full flavor. From the front to the end, I could pull out the different flavors in the meat. The smoked meats had the perfect blend of cooked to burnt ends. The wood flavor equaled that of a good barrel aged bourbon. The flavors were not masked my BBQ sauce. The service was great, but it lacked a little on the personal side. The server could of smiled and been a little happier. The cooks seemed to be enjoying their jobs. It's always great to see an open kitchen. The atmosphere of the restraunt was that of a hometown diner. Great experience all around. Had a wonderful meal. Had leftovers to enjoy later."

"We had Liz as our waitress tonight, and she was fantastic—very attentive to our needs. However, once her shift ended, we had a different waitress with red hair, and our experience took a turn for the worse. This isn't the first time we've felt ignored by her; we waited 15 minutes without receiving any drinks. The food at this restaurant is good, but it's consistently served lukewarm, and we often have to send it back for reheating. We really enjoy the atmosphere here, but we think some music playing in the background could enhance it even more. We would love to see this business thrive, but it definitely needs some improvements!"

"Such a cute little diner right off the highway! Friendly atmosphere, good food, and zero weird looks when I asked if my chicken salad could be done in a tomato as opposed to any breads!!! Our waitress (Barb) wasn’t sure the cook would have time to do it in a tomato, so I said slices would be okay! The cook (Jimmy) was more than happy to accommodate though!!This isn’t the first time we’ve been here and won’t be the last.? the spaghetti special in the background my aunt got!!! Sooooo good!!!"

"We were in a few days ago with a wild toddler who was just having a rough time! Our waitress was AMAZING and so extremely patient. She got him a bowl of grapes to snack on while we waited for our meals. Once our delicious meals came to the table our toddler decided to make a giant mess. Of course as a parent you get embarrassed, emotional and want to get up and leave. Dad took our son outside so he can get him back to our room and I was left with a mess and my half eaten breakfast. The waitress came over and reassured me that everything is ok and to make sure I ate! That was a moment I will never forget. She sat with me and made sure I knew I was doing a good job! We will ALWAYS stop by when we are in town. On top of all of that, the food really was DELICIOUS and so was the coffee! Thank you again!"

"I had a disappointing experience at Ruby's while traveling for work. After reading positive reviews, I was excited to try the food. However, my visit was a waste of time. Despite arriving at 6:30pm and getting seated with a menu and water, my order was never taken after waiting for over 25 minutes. Others who came in after me were served while I sat there. I eventually left due to the lack of service. The reason for this poor experience remains unclear, but it was definitely upsetting and disappointing."
