"This is a rare case of my giving a really negative review and I wish to God I could give **negative** stars in this case.
I cannot comment on the food, as I wound up sending it back. It was sent back because it was over an hour late, with the driver arriving during the **one** call to check on it, and to the poor customer service that followed. When the drive arrived the manager asked to speak to him and proceeded to try to *dictate* terms to my wife by asking to speak to the driver, giving him terms to dictate and then hanging up before the phone was passed back to my wife. Zero apology for issue. The terms dictated were an insultingly low amount clearly chosen to show disrespect while *technically* addressing "customer satisfaction" Money is **not** an issue and I tend to be a large tipper. I'd have been fine with an apology and a valid reason for the lateness. However, dictating terms will *not* fly. I called back to speak to the manager who proceeded to start in with "Let me explain how this is." Call me funny but, in my mind, "How it is" is not being over an hour late, with food of questionable freshness and heat, and **dictating ** an insulting discount without even the courtesy to speak to your customer like a human being. It is *also* not the best plan to try to immediately talk over the very pissed customer calling back. NO attempt was made to engage until I stated the food was being refused on delivery for these reasons. Thereafter, there was a great deal of trying to **bludgeon** me into accepting the order and the abysmal treatment. The driver was then tried to harangue me with the fact we **had** to be hungry (NO **** by 9:30pm) and that $2 off was a "good deal". I don't care if it's $2 million, you do not treat my wife like dirt and you do not *dictate* to your customers.My wife and I have received late orders before and $2 isn't worth 30 seconds to argue over. Even in the event of sending the food back I would **normally** have still tipped the driver, since the issue appeared to be at the restaurant end. That ended when he tried to argue the matter with me, extensively. I actually had to resort to practically shouting, "We are done here! I'm not doing business with you! You need to leave!" ... several times.
I worked in food many moons ago and have a high respect and health tipping policy for food workers. HOWEVER, I do **NOT** pay to have my wife and myself disrespected and *then* badgered for not being a good little meal ticket. It's unfortunate for their owner that they have no working email, as I doubt this complete lack of customer service will ever get back to them.
Under the circumstances, UNLESS you believe your only reason for existence is to be a cash cow for these idiots, your time has no value, you think your wife deserves to be disrespected, and you harbor the secret urge to be a doormat, I cannot strongly enough recommend that you NOT order from this establishment. Those who do not even make a pretense of caring about their PAYING customers do not deserve to have them. As for me, I say a flyer for this place at work. Now that I know what these idiots are about I **WILL** be making sure to warn my co-workers to steer clear of this establishment."
