"My friend who loves food discovered KKC and suggested we go there for lunch when we come back. We went in and the restaurant was nice, clean, and following safe protocols by enforcing masks. I ordered a few things - my friend got the party wings and tenders, I got a two piece dark and a two piece white for my friend. The atmosphere was clean both inside and outside. It's located inside the Exxon, but it offers more than just Krunchy Chicken - they also have subs, burgers, pizzas, shrimps, and fish which are not available near me. The chicken was freshly cooked and some pieces looked so crispy and fresh even though they had been sitting. They even offered a blueberry biscuit, which was new to me since I am used to the regular honey butter biscuit. The blueberry flavor was throughout the biscuit, making it fluffy and soft. The chicken had just the right amount of Cajun spice kick and stayed super crunchy even when I had it later at 3:30pm. The piece I ate was crunchy but not overly cooked, and the meat was juicy and tender, making it finger-licking good. I would definitely go back just for the chicken. I am happy I was able to check this location off my list and experience the goodness of a new place."
