"I've been to this restaraunt a few times with my grandmother since she lives in the area and seems to enjoy it. Although, while I am having breakfast at max and Emma's I have been hearing yelling and arguing coming from the kitchen and have seen a large man with white hair belittling and treating multiple employees less-than-fairly, including our waitress. Needless to say on days like this it made the atmosphere very uncomfortable and I think I would have a hard time visiting again unless this changes. Regardless, I wasn't totally dissatisfied, my service was fantastic the food was great, although the it took quite a while to come out. I would love to come back seeing it was one of my grandmothers favorite locations but she and I just think it has lost its homey, familiar feel lately."
