"Ted's Fish Fry has been a staple of the Capital District for 75 years now. As a kid, I would go there quite frequently with my family. Today we took advantage of the anniversary special of 75-cent fish fries. Each location will offer this value all week long, rotating from one to the other. If you get your card stamped and go to each one you enter a contest to win a free fish fry every day for a year. God bless you if you can do that. Anyway, the first location was their Flagship Watervliet restaurant which as you can see from the picture, the line was over an hour but well worth the wait. They have the best onion rings and serve fish fries with either tartar sauce or their homemade chili sauce which nobody seems to know about outside of the Capital District. Congratulations to the Deeb family for the years of success."

"Really great food and super fast service. We got the fried scallops and the seafood combo. Everything was cooked perfectly. Very crispy outside, while seafood inside was moist and juicy. Wish I lived closer, it would be a regular place for me. Loved every bite. There was a line but it moved quickly. The staff were fun and very efficient at their jobs. It was a joy to see such a well run kitchen with people that seemed to be enjoying their jobs. It appeared to be an awesome group of young people. Wish I had gotten pictures but I will be back on my next trip through. Thanks!!"

"I've been going to Ted's Fish Fry for over 30 years, and I've never been disappointed! I always order the fish with tartar sauce because, guess what? It's a "Fischer-Flügel" establishment, and that's what they're famous for, which has helped them grow over the years! The simple, delicious fish fry tastes just as amazing as it did during my very first visit over three decades ago! I make sure to stop by whenever I'm in the area!"

"Fish fry was great! Chicken tenders dinner was good too. I substituted onion rings for the fries and the onion rings were too greasy/oily like the fryer oil wasn't hot enough and a lot of the coating had fallen off. French fries with fish fry weremuch better than the onion rings should have gotten those instead."

"Tonight, my first time was food from here and given the reviews I had high expectations. I ordered the fish and chips with regular Pommes sweet potatoes (instead of Coleslaw I don't like). When I was on my way home in my car, I noticed that they forgot to include the regular frits. So my order was not correct. Overall, the food was hot and well roasted. However, the sweet potato fries were not salted at all and tasted very simple. The fried fish also seemed to be underheated (and used a little too much bread for my pleasure). The food was not bad, but definitely not my best roasted fish experience. I think I'm just used to another style of fried fish that is slightly scattered and heavier spiced (I'm from Maryland). The style at Ted?s is just not my cup of tea. That means the staff was very friendly and friendly and my food was ready shortly after my arrival to pick it up. I appreciate a good service."
