"The biscuits were denser than I expected—not light and fluffy—and the sausage gravy had a different flavor profile than the typical Southern style. It used spices like thyme and parsley, among others, which made it distinct, but it wasn’t as sausage-flavored as I had hoped. The waffle was similarly dense instead of airy. Both the biscuits and waffle were delicious, though the texture was different, which didn’t take away from the overall enjoyment. I would absolutely order them again, but now I know they have a unique twist, reminiscent of Grandma’s cooking.
The staff were welcoming, friendly, and attentive. While the prices are a bit on the higher side, the large portions make up for it. I recommend giving this place a shot; Grandma's is definitely a local favorite!"
