"I placed an online order for two Footlong subs and picked them up, but when I got home, I found that my subs had no cheese. I tried calling the restaurant for 10 minutes, but no one answered, so I drove back to have them either add cheese or remake my subs. One of the employees took my sub apart, but still, there was no cheese. They advertise "2X the Cheese" on their Subway Club Sandwiches, but I was disappointed to see that wasn’t the case. They called the owner, who instructed them to remake my sandwiches. I thought this was just a one-time issue. While I was at the restaurant, I placed another order and watched them make the sandwich. To my surprise, they only added four slices of cheese instead of the advertised eight. When I pointed this out, they became angry and insisted that a Footlong only comes with four slices. I didn’t think showing them their own promotional materials would help, so I asked them to cancel my order. They refused, which led me to sit down and call my bank to dispute the charge since I wasn't accepting the order. Eventually, they contacted the owner, who agreed to cancel my order. Later that evening, I visited another Subway, and the same woman from the previous store recognized me when I sat down to place my order. She informed me that they were out of spinach, wheat bread, and Provolone cheese. I agreed to substitute different ingredients, as there was no issue with that. However, after a few minutes, she asked if I had placed my order yet. When I explained that I was just substituting the out-of-stock items, she told me to leave the Brickerton Subway or she would call the police. I was taken aback, as I had quietly sat down, intending to order online for a discount. Her name looked like Marion, and I felt incredibly embarrassed since there was another customer in the store witnessing the situation and I didn't deserve that treatment. I have since submitted a complaint to Subway's corporate office about my experiences, including the incident with the owner. I’m still shocked by how I was treated. I’ve been a loyal customer of Subway since January 1995, back when I used to drive a truck across the United States."
