"Returned to this part of Sarasota to visit as recommended to try this restaurant. Sadly not a good recommendation. There was a quiz in progress and we waited…and waited….and waited to be seated whilst the quiz continued.eventually we were seated however, because of the quiz it had to be outside-and advised that our server would be with us shortly. The hostess returned to say that she could not find our server and asked for drinks orders which were margaritas. Our server then arrived and advised against these drinks as they were too watery and always being sent back! Offered a cocktail menu. The cocktail chosen was bright blue, unpleasant and undrinkable! With a severe gluten allergy requiring 911 if any contact with gluten made the server checked with the kitchen and was able to reassure us. Food chosen, the cocktail was replaced and the food arrived. Warm only, the burger bowl was ok, the Mac and cheese with onion strings and thick bacon was lacking in onion strings and had bacon bits only, was bland and tasteless. We were then approached by the server before we had finished asking to give us the check as she was going home! Sorry guys much much better when it was Beckham’s."
