"While the restaurant had a nice ambiance in terms of comfort and décor, it was nearly impossible to hold a conversation at our table due to the noise, coupled with the overcrowding (fire hazard, anyone?). The food was generally average—not great. Had I not kept the receipt, I might have completely forgotten about the mediocre Fish Muddle (which is appropriately named—believe me, as a Bouillabaisse enthusiast, this dish didn’t even come close). We also tried the Lobster Crab Cake, which lacked flavor.
For dessert, we had Chocolate Cake, Strawberry Cheesecake, and Bread Pudding—no complaints there! The beer selection was good, with the Hefeweizen being particularly enjoyable, and my daughter liked the strawberry lemonade. However, the highlights of the evening were definitely the Southwestern Egg Rolls for the appetizer and the Sweet Potato Fries for the main dish.
I had been looking forward to trying this restaurant for quite some time, whether in DC or at their location in Tysons Corner, VA. However, I now doubt I will return, given the ear-splitting noise, underwhelming food choices, and the disappointing cost-to-value ratio. If you decide to visit, I hope your experience is better than ours. Bon appétit… elsewhere."
