"We have enjoyed dining at Almonds in the past, but our experience last night fell short of our expectations. To begin with, there were no bread or crackers served with either the salad or the main course. When I inquired about the gritty texture of my roasted pork tenderloin, I received no response or explanation. I asked the server to check with the chef, and upon her return, she suggested that the texture was due to the raspberry in the dish. However, I have had raspberry glazes before and have never experienced a texture like this. In the end, I chose to skip the pork and went with the sticky mashed potatoes and green beans, which appear to be the only side dishes regularly offered."
