"We traveled from Oxford CT to meet up with cousins. It took a long time to get there. The reception was lovely as the bar is nearthe door and the barkeeper could not have been nicer. The service staff was ver attentive and eager to answer all the questions we had about the menu. As my cousin had brought wine we opted to drink that as well as a lovely bottle of Prosecco. The corkage fee is high at 25.00 but reasonable if you check the wine list. As for the meal, we had fried calamarie which was crispy and there were no legs. It was served with a light redsauce and a tasty white sauce. I hadthe lasagne bolgnese which was enough for a take away box. My husband had the squash raviolis which, for the price, nwas a bit skimpy. My cousins shared the wedge salad and said the dressing was outstanding. One had the scallop dinner which was also skimpy for the price, the other had the pork melanaise which she lijed but did not rave about as it was not prepared in a way she was accustomed. This is a or more place but then, it is New Canaan. Just sayin."
