"I've lived in Seattle my whole life and have been eating teriyaki since I was a little kid, so when I say this is my favorite teriyaki spot, that's saying something. Toshi's is the OG of Seattle teriyaki, and the chain is still pretty good, but this Toshi's is independently owned and operated, and even better for it (in my opinion). The quality of the meat here is leaps and bounds ahead of what you'll find in most places. Thick cuts of chicken, steak, or pork, perfectly marinated, and flame grilled with just the right amount of char. The sauce is perfect, just like the original Toshi's, not that thick sauce with way too much sugar in it like you find in so many places these days. The portion sizes are huge, the prices are very reasonable, and the service is quick. My go-to order is the spicy chicken and pork combo, but if you feel like splurging, get the steak. It's worth it!"
