"The atmosphere of the restaurant is charming, but unfortunately, the food left much to be desired. I ordered fried green tomatoes and the fresh catch of the day, which I believe was bass, accompanied by collard greens and red rice. For the first time in a long while, I ended up sending my food back as it simply didn't taste good. No one at our table was satisfied with their meal, and we genuinely wanted to enjoy it. The service was adequate, and the desserts displayed in the cases looked appealing, but the main courses fell flat. It’s possible we just chose the wrong restaurant while following a friend's recommendation; perhaps this place was confused with another steakhouse in the area. However, the slimy green tomatoes were undeniably unappealing, the collards had an off taste, and I couldn't even make out the flavor of the fish beneath all that. Additionally, pan-frying a ribeye felt like an odd decision. Why not serve it with a baked potato? It felt more like a philosophical choice than a culinary one."
