"Located conveniently in a small strip mall, Nayada Thai initially impresses with its modern, clean design. We received a warm welcome and were seated promptly by friendly staff. We ordered two appetizers: Thai Spring Rolls and Crisp Thai Calamari. Our drinks were served quickly, but after about 10 minutes, the appetizers arrived hot. Unfortunately, it was clear that the frying oil needed changing; both the wraps and the calamari were overly dark and crisp, indicating they had been fried in oil that was past its prime. The spring rolls were the generic kind often found in many restaurants, while the calamari, which came in a parchment-lined metal basket, was of the breaded tube variety, served without the chilis and onion typical of Asian-style dishes. Overall, the spring rolls were mediocre and the calamari was decent, but nothing to remember. Once we finished our appetizers, we waited for our server to return, but they were busy clearing tables. Our drinks had run dry, and it took another 10 minutes before we got refills and could place our order for the main course. Since we had missed the lunch menu, my wife and I decided to split a dinner-sized portion of Pad See Ew with chicken. We asked the waiter if they could separate the dish for us, including the egg in my portion and leaving it out for my wife due to her egg allergy. The waiter checked with the chef, who declined our request, so we ended up ordering the dish without egg entirely. It wasn’t a huge issue, but it would have been nice to have our request accommodated. When the entree finally arrived, about 10 minutes later, the presentation was appealing. However, the flavors were bland, and the Chinese broccoli was undercooked, bordering on raw rather than al dente. I tried to get the waiter’s attention for a spice tray, but they didn’t return until we were finished eating to present the check. It’s worth noting that there were only 3-4 patrons in the restaurant at the time, so it’s surprising that the service was so slow. I can only imagine how long the waits would be during busier times. "Update: After politely requesting a refund I had 4 angry employees scream at me and prevent me leaving while demanding I leave or they call the cops. My car was blocked in by the cook standing in my way.YouTube video of the obnoxious behavior which involved them screaming at myself and my young child to be uploaded soon.I have never had a restaurant team come out to scream at me bc I politely asked for a refund.Read the other low reviews and you can see how their service truly is.Am I racist? Of course not! If you like Asian food I highly suggest Hoonan's in Rogers as well as Tokyo House. In Bentonville try Lin's Garden; and, Oriental Express was fantastic until they closed due to Covid. I love Asian food and culture, this had nothing to do with race and its a poor card to play in this scenario.Original Review:Very poor. We ordered food for 2 adults and 1 child. The order was 1 teriyaki beef, 1 chicken fried rice and 1 child's lo mien.It tasted like movie popcorn. Oily and the beef is very poor quality. This isnt food. its microwave pre cooked junk. Also there was only a small lump of rice included with the meal. REALY?! Junk beef cuts and less than adequate rice?Chicken fried rice: it was worse than the Sams Club piles of frozen premade fried rice. Thats seems to be enough said. Its bad. Awful flavor. Rice was goo... How could you be take pride in this?Kids Lo Mein: It was ok, same cheap pre made beef, noodles were good, but it takes effort to mess those up. Only item worth the money.Overall: Would never go back again. Never been to an Asian McDonalds, but damn. this was gross, and worthless food. Will never go back, and wouldn't recommend to my worst enemy. Saddest part is good Asian food is easy and cheap to make, but these people dont know how to do that and charge more for their junk food than its worth. Only an idiot would eat here. How could you ever be proud of this Owners...serious question...How could you ever take pride in this food?"
