"Took my wife her for her birthday since she requested Asian cuisine for her birthday dinner. We’ve been to a number of Asian/Asian fusion cuisine restaurants and all of them have been amazing, so this was our first time here so we were looking forward to it. The environment and ambiance is nice and sets the mood but the loud noise from the staff and other customers was louder for a moderate size place. Saw a lot of staff diddle-daddling giving sub par hospitality service. The hostess who sat us made a big deal about us being a few minutes late for the reservation but told us they still have our table. I didn’t needed that run around explanation, just tell me if I have to wait cuz I’m late for my reservation or what not. Plus they had plenty of tables open so it was barely busy. The cocktail drinks were anything but typical. We were expecting something new and refreshing but the Asian mojito and sake yule were made like a typical bar drink from sports bar. I was not impressed nor was my wife. The food was pretty decent. The sushi rolls was good and the nippon burger was not bad at all, something different from your typical burger. The service was really sub par and disappointing since it’s a restaurant. In typical Miami attitude fashion, the waiters didn’t really pay attention to the customer and just came in to take your plate when you’re done. Not really asking if everything was ok or did we need anything. I’ve seen better service in Chili’s and Kendall ale house compared to what we experienced tonight. If you’re a typical Miami resident who is all about style and appearance and don’t care about how great the food or arrive is, then come here. Otherwise I wouldn’t suggest this place to anyone nor would I try again."

"As someone originally from Buffalo, I was delighted to discover this bar/restaurant. I've heard that the owner, who isn't from Buffalo, is a huge Bills fan and has decorated the walls with a lot of Bills memorabilia. The chicken tenders and cocktails were tasty, and they even had Frank's hot sauce available, which is a Buffalo staple! It was enjoyable to sit back, unwind, and catch some US Open action at the bar. I'm looking forward to returning for a Bills game this fall!"

"I had a disappointing experience at this restaurant. I ordered the Shrimp Tacos, and unfortunately, they did not meet my expectations at all. It’s puzzling how some establishments can serve such unappetizing food. I found the tacos to be quite unpleasant. I’m not sure if they even take the time to read reviews like this, but I hope they start to pay attention and work on improving their dishes. It would be great if they could take feedback seriously and stop serving soggy tacos. Additionally, if I request no sour cream, I’d appreciate it if they could honor that request rather than putting it on the side without the lid. It ended up spilling onto my tacos, and I had no choice but to throw them away."

"I recently had an early dinner with some close friends at Esevagonte, and it was a great choice. The owner, Eva, is a fantastic person who always makes me feel like part of the family. We started with phenomenal appetizers like mushrooms and a cheese and meat platter. The Bocaditos, Ropa Vieja Flatbread, and Salmon Flatbread were all excellent dishes. We enjoyed several bottles of wine with a tasty Prosciutto Pizza. The meal was wonderful, but what really made it special was Eva joining us to chat and share some wine. Esevagonte is a warm and inviting restaurant with elegant and delicious food. I highly recommend it. Enjoy!"

"I requested to speak with the manager, but she never came over. When we went to pay, I asked again to speak with her. After finally discussing our experience, she informed me that there was nothing she could do about the situation. It turned into a truly unpleasant dining experience, and given that the manager seemed unconcerned about my frustration, we've decided not to return."
