"The food was below average. Not well seasoned basically stale flavor all around. The steak was tender so that's a plus. The lychee Martini is fantastic. My husband ordered the shrimp and steak plate. The mash potatoes were delicious and garlicky. The shrimp were just in a small bowl filled with butter, no flavor and bland. The steak as I said was very tender. My Grandmother had the steak salad with a blue cheese dressing. She said the salad was great but a little soggy at the bottom, and no she didn't use any dressing at all. Just fresh pepper provided by our wonderful waitress.We had the brussel sprouts and calamari for appetizers. The calamari was very rubbery not fresh, and flavorless, the tarter sauce is what helped give it any flavor. The brussel sprouts had a very weird bitter aftertaste.I had the fish and chips. The fish was flavorless, the Cole slaw was warm and bland. The fries were also bland. The sauces provided are what actually gives the food flavor. The atmosphere was okay, it was clean,but it was stale. Not warm or inviting. The staff were the Real winners, the waitress was really nice and knowledge, she was fast and she gave us the best service. Too bad the food couldn't keep up to its name."
