"Pleasantly surprised. I've lived in walking distance to Metro for years, but had never been. I was curious about the recent renovations- so wandered over there for dinner. My partner in crime ordered the fried chicken, and I was jealous the second it hit the table. It was not only pretty, but absolutely delicious- crispy, savory, juicy and not greasy at all. The honey butter rosemary glaze really made the dish, and the mac and cheese was equally tasty. I ordered the shrimp and grits which was also delicious, although lacking in presentation (maybe a little green garnish would've helped it out).
