"As soon as I sat down, a waitress came by within seconds with a menu. I ordered a Pepsi and took my time browsing through the options. It was 5:30 PM, and the happy hour specials were available. Unfortunately, the curly fries and onion rings were only offered outside, so I opted for the classic cheese curds. They were the perfect amount of crispy and reminded me more of Cheddar's than other local spots.
Ray's is obviously well-known for its wings, boasting about 18 different flavors ranging from hottest to mildest. I personally don’t enjoy spicy food, so I picked three mild options: honey BBQ, sesame teriyaki, and lemon pepper dry rub, all in a 5-wing basket. The honey BBQ was my favorite, with the teriyaki coming in a close second. The lemon pepper, however, was a bit too salty for my taste and left me feeling parched.
I went through two large glasses of Pepsi while I was there—it was quite a lot! I also had the house salad, which featured fresh lettuce and a decent ranch dressing that wasn’t overwhelming. However, I would have preferred larger pieces of lettuce and a bigger serving (I enjoy red onions in my salads).
Overall, the prices were very reasonable, and I felt it was a good choice for my evening."
