"I took my mom to this restaurant for dinner during our visit last summer because it’s one of her favorite Vietnamese places in Portland. I was pleasantly surprised by how delicious and authentic the food was. We tried a few specials, and they exceeded our expectations. The shrimp paste noodle platter and the betel-wrapped beef platter were both incredibly tasty and authentically prepared. The signature garlic noodles were also flavorful. The Com Chay Bo Luc Lac was enjoyable, with the beef being tender and cooked just right. The flavors were spot on. The Bun Tom Thit Nuong was decent, but it felt a bit overpriced for the portion we received. The service, however, could definitely use some improvement. Would I go back? Yes, but mostly for the food, not for the service."
