"Went to check out Nick's for lunch after reading the reviews. I think my expectations may have been set high but I really wasn't all impressed. I sat at the bar, service was friendly and prompt. The inside decor was mediocre for a dinner, especially with at 50's theme. I found the food to be lacking, willing to give it another try though. I got the open faced meatloaf sanwhich. The meatloaf was pretty bland and the brown gravy tasted as it was premix where you add water which was disappointing. The fries were good though. I would give it 2.5 spoons out of 5<br/ <br/ Update: 4/20 went back for a breakfast visit. Was pleased to see the expanded seating area, felt less crowded. The food was worse throw, undercooked food and even the table next to us sent back a burger. No refills on coffee and had to flag people down. I would rather go to Dontes or Howley's for a breakfast. Not so sure I would go back with so many other choices."

"When I first went to The Blended Table (shortly after they opened) I was positively impressed, lots of fresh veggies cooked to perfection and everything tasted great . A year later (6/20/22) I went there with my boyfriend and everything was different. We got the fish tacos and right away we both noticed that they tasted fishy . The fries were undercooked (actually hard) and didn 't taste good. My boyfriend who works in a restaurant himself said that this was because they hadn 't changed the oil in their frier. We don 't like to be complainers so we said nothing. Later that day (2 hours ish) I started experiencing cramps and got a headache. This continued for 2 full days into Wednesday. I looked up fish poisoning online and there were my symptoms to a tee. (This kind of poisoning comes from bacteria getting in the fish before it 's cooked not undercooked fish). I called the restaurant and told them what happened and after some initial resistance, she apologized but did chastise me for not telling her about the undercooked fries earlier. I did not ask for a refund and none was offered, though I do feel like that would have been appropriate. I feel like someone who works in a restaurant should know how to cook their fries properly and should definitely know how to check their meat before putting on the grill to make sure it 's not bad. Not my responsibility to tell them... I cannot recommend this restaurant at this time and it is really sad since they started out so well."
