"I go there at least once a month but I will reconsider coming to this location every again. I order chicken el pollo and there was no queso cheese as I ask the waitress she say just stir it up. Once I advise I didn't want my meal she then said I can only bring a small bowl of cheese. I just wanted my order right. They never once refill my drink. If they don't want my business I will go somewhere else."

"I would give zero stars if I could. I did take out and they forgot to give me my entire entree (I ordered two). When I got home, I realized it and called them but it was after close so I had to call several times for someone to pick up. They refused to refund me, so I settled with them saying they would give me a credit that I could use whenever I wanted. I just called to try and use it and they told me no because it had been too long (6 months), despite the manager at the time telling me that it would never expire."

"It was just okay, but I don't think it was worth the price. I ordered a wet burrito, and it was quite bland—barely any flavor at all. I also got some ice cream, but they seemed confused about the different flavors. I suggested that if it made things easier, I would just take the watermelon flavor. They completely ignored that and handed me the wrong one, which I only discovered after I got home. I was really looking forward to the ice cream and burrito, so I was pretty disappointed. I’m giving it 3 stars because it wasn’t the worst place I've been to, and the horchata was decent, but it mainly tasted like ice, which was a letdown. I probably won't return, but I might consider trying it again—it depends."

"I always come to this Mexican restaurant because I like the food and it's close to my house. But last time I went there and asked my server if the “Fajita a la Diabla” was too spicy and he replied that it is not too spicy, so I decided to order it. When I first tried, the red sauce was super spicy and it didn't feel like it was made by scratches. It was just a dried Spicy when it makes sense. So I would recommend you to be specific with customers because not all of us eat spicy food. But unlike this food was always good."

"We had a group of about 12 people and we were all quite happy including children! I have a Burrito Sabroso (rotated beef). It tastes super authentic, maybe a recipe similar to Mol. It was also beautiful and great; I was full after about 2/3 of them. And it came with rice and beans and a few avocado slices on the pico de gallo. I was in places that give you only one of these three things. The salsa was hotter than average and had a good taste. The atmosphere was good, a high ceiling and super cool tables, benches and chairs. Maybe darker than usual. Tables not too close together. The bathroom sinks were really cool! Measured tone or similar. Our server was really nice and even cleaned a children's doll with a mop."

"Great Mexican Spot in Auburn!! It was my first time at Cebolla 's in Auburn and had a great meal. Who loves good Mexican food? After a long day, I was starving !! The server was awesome and recommended a 'MansMeal ' so I ordered the 'can’t go wrong ' dish. the world-famous Carne Asada along with a bowl of Sopa Mexicana, a Mexican Style Meatball Soup. The house-made chips n ' salsa were fresh and perfectly salted. The service was great the food was awesome and if you 're ever in Auburn give Cebolla’s a shot!"

"I have never had a bad experience at any Cebolla's location. The service is always great and it doesn't take any time at all for the food to be brought out to the table after ordering. You can tell that the food was prepared to order and is always fresh and hot. We usually request to sit in the bar area and they have no problem at all sitting us there."

"Unfortunately, the drinks tasted like a pre-packaged mix. I lost track of how many waitstaff came by our booth repeatedly asking if we were ready to order. My friend enjoyed her meal, but I had two chicken quesadillas ($9.99 each) that were slightly burnt. They contained very little cheese or sauce, and the chicken was tough. Additionally, there was a sign taped to the booth's wall stating that paying in cash would earn us a 5% discount, which we both did. However, we did not receive any discount. Overall, I wouldn't return to this restaurant and wouldn't recommend it either, especially with so many other Mexican dining options available."

"I always enjoy going to City Mex for a good lunch, and believe it or not, the staff is very welcoming, especially for a fast-casual restaurant. The experience at the cash register is always pleasant; they don’t rush you, and it seems like they work well as a team. The food is consistently fresh and flavorful. The soups are tasty, although I've noticed that when I order them, they tend to arrive warm rather than hot—this is something they could improve on, but the flavors are definitely there. The meats are always excellent, grilled fresh and sliced to order. It’s a great spot for breakfast, lunch, or dinner."

"This review should be a big surprise to anyone who knows me: not because i went to this restaurant but because i went to this restaurant because it is in the South Bay....Manhattan Beach specifically. And this Dude rarely goes to the South Bay or the Westside for that matter. But be that as it may, i was visiting a long lost friend who lives in MB and being that Pachanga is one of his faves......we went with the smell of salt water in our noses. Pachanga has several meanings in spanish but the one i like is that it is a wild dance similar to both the cha-cha and the samba. Though there was no dancing going on here: there was some pretty good cooking. Since I will eat Nachos pretty much anywhere and in any form i ordered the Beefy Nachos and this dish was very well prepped and presented. The Guacamole was creamy, tasty and sparked with onions, seasonings and a bit of tomato. Chips were fresh and warm. Beef was beefy, savory and obviously freshly cooked. We also had a steak quesadilla which was less than a success. The steak was a bit chewy probably because the whole piece was cut with the grain rather than across it. This could have happened with the vendor or at the restaurant. In either event, it ruined the product. Also it should have been served with something other than just chips. The Burrito was jammed pack with good stuff: sauce, meat, greens,tomato all wrapped in a home made tasting flour tortilla. This is a well thought out, tasty product. The service was quick. The counter help was nice and willing to help and explain the menu. My MB friend of course was in heaven here and it was good to see him after several years. I will be back here to visit him as well as to dance the P-A-C-H-A-N-G-A !!!!"

"This type of place is not for everyone, a cantina-type restaurant, it is not the type of places that I like, I only went once and the truth is, if you are dying of hunger and you pass that place, it is good to kill the hungry but definitely won't be back, not my kind of place to eat."

"From the outside this place looks a bit questionable because it's a house that has been converted into a restaurant. There's limited parking, but once you are in then you will find the employees to be extremely friendly. They start you off with Fresh Salsa and Chips, then ask you what you want you want to drink. I opted for the Fruit Punch Jarrito, while my Husband went with Mandarin. Having glass bottles was definitely a bonus for me. The flavor will always be better in those, but what you really must know is about the salsa. The flavors were definitely there with the onion and cilantro, but not too much spice. This is of course from my perspective which is one of someone that tends to like the spice in my Mexican food. I ordered shrimp fajitas for myself while my husband had the Speedy beef Burrito. Upon trying his Burrito first, I found it to be the perfect moisture, but lacked the spice. I then tried my shrimp Fajitas. Everything about my fajitas was cooked to perfection, but it also lacked the spice I was looking for. This location is perfect for those wanting Authentic, delicious Mexican food, but without the spice they know they can't handle. That is not to say there is not flavor. There is plenty of flavor. For my Husband it is what he's calling mild flavor because I've spent many years slowly breaking him in. So yes please give this restaurant a chance and form your own opinion because for you it might just be five stars."
