"This restaurant is just a three-block walk from my home, which is the main reason I decided to try it instead of Yummy Yummy on Carrollton. While YY has better reviews overall, I genuinely enjoy Ming Garden. I've been ordering take-out from here for several months now, and I've come across some terrible reviews for this place. As a regular customer, I feel it's important to share some positive feedback. First of all, your food will be ready in no time. You might not even be prepared for it. You think to yourself, “I’m a little hungry; I should order some Chinese.” It’s 6:30 PM, and you plan to eat at 7:00. Foolish, right? You place your order, and they’ll tell you, “Okay, your food will be ready in 10 minutes.” So now what? Eat early? Yes, you really don't have much of a choice, especially since we all know that crab rangoons don’t keep well. Speaking of crab rangoons, theirs are absolutely fantastic (I’m bringing that expression back!). Seriously, I typically dislike crab rangoons because I’m not a big fan of cream cheese (I have specific preferences about the ratio of cream cheese to crab to seasoning). Ming Garden gets this ratio just right for me. They truly understand my cravings like a close friend would. Their rangoons also have a funny, unique shape, but I find that charming. So, if you live nearby and are in the mood for Chinese food, just go here already! Why are you even browsing Urbanspoon for this? It’s Chinese food; it’s quick to prepare and quite affordable. At worst, you might dislike it and spend $10, but I highly doubt you will. If you do, it just means your taste buds are off, and you should reconsider your choices!"
