"This is exactly what you need on a cloudy day. The broth was outstanding for a restaurant setting. I ordered the P4, which had rare steak and beef meatballs (with little chewy bits of tendons in the meatballs). This is authentic pho, not diluted, and comes with the right garnishes like Thai basil and bean sprouts. It's a light soup despite the beef, and the smaller portion was more than sufficient for me.
Does the broth contain MSG? Probably, but it's important to note that a sprinkle of MSG in a large pot of broth is quite different from having it added to every dish at a Chinese restaurant. I'm sensitive to MSG, but I didn't experience any headaches here.
The service was incredibly fast; my pho was ready within five minutes of my arrival. Are the staff exceptionally friendly? Not really, but they're not rude either. My people have been through a lot. The restaurant was very clean, and the pho was top-notch!"
