"I recently attended a 50th birthday party at Ben's Crab, and it was truly an unforgettable event! As someone who is primarily vegetarian, I was initially a bit hesitant, but I found myself excited to indulge in some French fries, chicken, and shrimp. The party had a blue-themed decor to celebrate the milestone, and the atmosphere was electric. Although the bar area was quite crowded with no seating available, the reasonable prices for cocktails and the delicious food made the wait worthwhile. What stood out the most was the owner, Jason, who exemplified warm hospitality by taking the time to greet each guest personally, snap photos, and ensure that everyone felt comfortable and welcome. The staff was professional, attentive, and polite, contributing to the overall positive experience. Ben's Crab features a spacious layout, making it an ideal venue for celebrations or casual dining. While it may cater more to seafood lovers and non-vegetarians, I was pleased to find a variety of options available. Highlights: - Spacious and lively atmosphere - Reasonable prices for cocktails and appetizers - Owner’s personal touch and genuine hospitality - Attentive and professional staff - Perfect for parties or dining out Suggestion for Improvement: To elevate the experience even further, I would recommend that the management consider implementing a clearer system for handling payment responsibilities upon entry. This would help avoid any confusion and provide a more seamless experience for guests. Recommendation: If you’re a seafood enthusiast or seeking a vibrant spot to celebrate a special occasion, Ben's Crab is definitely worth a visit!"

"I had a fantastic dining experience at Ben 's Crab last night. I visited back in 2023. From the moment I walked in, Florence, the hostess, greeted me with a warm smile and helped me find the perfect table. My server, Azzura, was exceptional. She was incredibly knowledgeable about the menu and offered helpful recommendations based on my preferences and appetite. She was attentive without being intrusive, ensuring I had everything I needed throughout the meal. I want to specifically highlight the female employees as they 've gone above and beyond to make my dining experience truly memorable. The food, of course, was delicious. The garlic butter sauce was well infused with every side item and protein ordered. I would rate the sauce, an eight out of 10. I personally think CAP’T LOUI Is unmatched! But, I appreciated the garlic butter, not being overly salty to the point of repulsion. The atmosphere was lively and energetic, making for a truly enjoyable dining experience. The music was catered to the older generation (90s and 2000’s babies) with a lot of throwbacks. I highly recommend Ben 's Crab to anyone looking for a fantastic seafood dining experience. This review highlights the positive experiences with Florence and Azzura, emphasizing their excellent service and professionalism. It also mentions the delicious food and the overall positive atmosphere, encouraging potential customers to dine at the restaurant. Their price point is fair in comparison to some of their mainstream competitors. I hope this review helps!"

"Plastic Utensils, Cardboard cups, and Terrible service. Seafood boils are NOT cheap. you’re expected to pay $100+ every time you come in for a seafood boil. So i’d NEVER recommend this restaurant to ANYBODY for that case. Portions are terrible, The food is genuinely terrible the good reviews are legit lies, most likely from people who’ve never eaten at a decent seafood boil in their life. im literally no exaggerating, i’ve never been so disappointed in a seafood boil because it’s hard to mess it up. Wellllll that’s until they overcooked the shrimp, put almost no seasoning on the food, and the crab legs couldn’t even crack. I left here with a stomachache and a $100 bill. Also just a heads up that 1/2 pound of crab legs equals to 4 small crab legs. Bland. Crab. Legs. there’s a seafood boil on south street if you’re willing to drive 15 20 minutes away. for cheaper the price and it’s LEVELS beyond this spot. I’d also not recommend drinking the water unless you want to get sick, thank me later. I genuinely don’t understand how this place has good reviews so they must be fake or made by people who’ve never cooked seafood a day in their life. even an average seafood boil is levels above this spot. Very disappointed and will not come back ever again. If you want to waste $100+, be my guest. It’s your money, not mine. I learned. Thanks!TIP: The real problem was with the actual food, You need to start from the ground up and correctly boil the food and correctly use the seasonings instead of putting one teaspoon of cajun on the entire thing and drenching the entire thing in more liquid then the food itself. The cardboard cup was so soggy that I felt as if my drink was fusing with wet socks, please just use glass… and offering a crab mallet to cut open the overcooked rubbery crab legs would be helpful for anybody that does choose to dine here. Cause without it, it’s a genuine struggle.PLEASE REBUILD."
