"Just found out about this place and decided to test it out.Located in a strip mall along side other restaurants.Plenty of free self parking.There's outside shades tables. Inside there's plenty of seating. Looks clean. Staff is friendly.I ordered takeout and my order was ready and hot.Got the fish and chips with diced zucchini and Rosemary seasoned tomato and feta.Very large portions that filled me up. Good flavor. A bit too much batter on the fish imo.Came with two servings of tartar sauce.Will be going back again."

"Order online for the collection. Online ordering was fast and painless, making a change from some independent restaurants. The food was ready on my arrival and had been freshly prepared. The food was still warm, even though I was late for a few minutes. I had stacked the turkey bee, which was very nice, but I don't think I'm going to ask for an apple next time, as I think it was really right. I also had the lamb 'foldable', which was excellent. My only criticism is that it was quite small, but the ingredients were all good quality and fresh. The staff was friendly and helpful. Will definitely visit again!"

"Quick food, check! Great service, check! Delicious, double check! This place is great. I was not a fan of the chicken taco, but I mean the place is called fish grill. The shrimp tacos were to die for. Also nice you can have a glass of wine and they bring you actually glassware. Ample outdoor and indoor seating. Employees are nice, hard working, and helpful. This place again is a hybrid of fast casual and sit down, so don’t expect full service, but in my opinion you should still expect to tip since there is service."

"I appreciate that they tell you which fish are wild caught versus farmed. I ordered the rock cod Cajun style with rice and a side of asparagus for extra . Fish was cooked well, not overdone and I loved all the extra lemon they give if you ask. However, the Cajun spice was not spicy at all despite having a chili pepper next to it on the menu. Of the three spears of asparagus they gave me, 1/3 of each spear was inedible and should have been cut off before cooking so it wasn’t worth paying extra for."

"The seasonal fruit drinks are fantastic, and I really enjoy the tepache canned drinks and the stubborn soda fountain as well. The salads surpass the usual expectations, featuring a mix of fresh greens—no wilted leaves here!—and delicious dressings. If I could eat here every day, I definitely would. The portions and quality of the food are also quite reasonably priced. By the way, if you're a fan of chicken, you have to try it here. Personally, salmon is my top choice, but the chicken at Fish Grill is cooked to perfection—better than anywhere else I’ve ever been. Yum!"

"I goto the one in cerritos and service over there is always exceptional, here the food was horribly dry! I always order thru uber eats and check the box for utensil but today i didn't get any utensils for my order thats why its a 3 star. And they put very little sauce so when it arrives the fish is so dry and this place over cooks the salmon so its extra dry. I would definitely pick cerritos location over this one any day. Ambiance of the restaurant I cant tell because i got it delivered here but maybe one day ill give it another chance and check it out myself instead of getting it delivered to see if they cook it better when I eat at the location myself. The rice and zucchini was perfectly done though thats the plus side... lol"

"The food was really good. The ordering was crazy making as the menu flashed by every few seconds. By the time I ordered (there was a line), I was frazzled. I don't normally mind tipping, but there was no obvious choice for no tip. So the cashier had to help me find that choice. He handed me the receipt, but not a separate number needed for picking up the order as we were eating there. On the plus side, the person who handed me additional sauces and take out containers was nice and polite. I may eat there again, but about tipping at a counter when I pay, have had to wait in line and no one has helped me yet? Still definitely edible, but not the way it should have been prepared. My mahi-mahi was inconsistent. Some bites were pretty good. Others barely tolerable. Service is a mixed bag. "I ordered from this place on doordash and it was amazing. It's hard to find a good fish and chips place since half penny closed. I got the grilled shrimp with rice and street corn. My daughter got the grilled salmon with rice and fries. My toddler gotchicken tenders and fries. My mom and dad got fish and shrimp with fried and zucchini. I even got a grilled fish taco on theside. "10/10. This has quickly become one of my favorite spots in California. I was on the lookout for places that serve Mahi Mahi and stumbled upon this gem. I had low expectations, as grilled fish can often be dry, but this restaurant really delivered. They marinated the fish perfectly, cooked it just right, and paired it wonderfully with sides. I ordered the Mahi Mahi with garlic butter sauce, along with Brussels sprouts, rosemary zucchini, and clam chowder. The fish was fresh and not fishy at all. The vegetables were so vibrant that I could eat them as a meal on their own. The food was excellent, and I will definitely be returning."

"Please hire someone that speaks English. Do you think those iPad could replace the cashiers? Wrong! Don’t be cheap, owners! We like your excellent products, do not let something stupid like Spanish-speaking-only employees ruin your business. I submitted the order, they gave me missing meals. Instead of spending half a minute prepare my missing meal, they made food for orders that submitted after me and let me wait for 15 minutes just because of their mistake. They didn’t openly communicate with customers in English and only talked to each other in Spanish."
