"Let me start of by stating the positive.  For many years my wife, friends and I have been visiting Pitch Pizzeria and have enjoyed many meals and great service.  Today that image was completely destroyed.  We entered Pitch West to be greeted by the hostess who started by saying we had three options, table one had a reservation in 60 minutes, table two. at the high top. had a reservation in 90 minutes or we could sit at the bar.  To be clear, we arrived at 5:20pm for happy hour.  I have been in the service industry for over a decade and worked for some of the finest restaurants in Omaha, prime steak houses, and was floored by this time limit for eating at a restaurant.  It is very likely we would have finished our meal prior to that timeframe, but being given an ultimatum as soon as we arrived is BAD SERVICE.  After speaking with the manager we agreed to stay and sit at the bar.  This is when BAD SERVICE went to RUDE SERVICE, the VP of Operations, Dean Leisman, came over after we sat down and interrupted a private conversation my wife and I were having to continue to inform us how we should have made a reservation if we wanted to eat at his restaurant.  From there things got even worse, I am shocked by the disrespect and unprofessional attitude displayed by a VP of Operations of a business not to mention a restaurant.  After being "scolded" by the VP of Operations for not making a reservation I told him that I would be leaving.  His response was "good".  It was only shortly after this incident I learned he was the "VP of Operations".  As I exited the restaurant I spoke with the manager who was very friendly and convinced us to stay originally and informed him of how we were treated.  During that conversation the VP of Operations Dean Leisman said and I quote "I am the owner and don't give them anything, let them leave". This was very embarrassing as we were chased out of the restaurant by the VP of Operations or as he calls himself the "owner".  We will never return and will be spreading our experience to anyone that is willing to listen.  Do not eat here unless you want to be treated terribly.  I cannot express enough dismay.  The worst part about this entire experience is Pitch was our favorite restaurant."

"To start, ordering our food was frustrating, I had to repeat at least 3x for each item we ordered. They didn’t give us our total, we paid with visa and got charged to use a visa debit. We ordered 3 items, medium pizza with one topping, a wrap and cheese fries and the total was 50$. Seems a bit too high for the items we ordered. When we called they explained all the little charges, delivery charge was $4 and visa debit was for 3$. Absolutely insane. Do not eat here. You’ll be ripped off. Food was okay, but not for the price. "First time back since they became city bar grill and not hills city grill. The place itself is fine, with a sleek atmosphere. However, I do have a bone to pick. The old place was known for its pizza sticks. These were not on the menu when they opened under new ownership. When i saw they were back, I jumped at the chance to get them. Come to find out they aren't even in the same universe as the old menu item. To me, it seems they added them back to draw business from previous patrons. They shouldn't call them pizza sticks. They are nothing like the previous favored item. Margherita sticks with no sauce (not even on the side). You don't throw full cherry tomatoes and spinach in bread with cheesy and call it Margherita."

"My sister, niece and I visited this restaurant this evening. We waited at the front desk to be seated. When seated we asked that the table be wiped off. The waitress complied, and never returned our table. After 20 minutes we stopped another person at the restaurant he said that waitress did not want to serve us. I guess maybe wiping off the table was a mistake?? We didn't ask to speak to a manager. The waiter said that the managers were too busy at this time. We were never even offered water before we left. Others were seen leaving the establishment as well"

"My wife and I were here a few months ago and decided to return. This was our second visit since a flood devastated the building. We began with a pitcher of Sangria and ordered Chicken with mushrooms and Shrimp stuffed with crab meat. Both entrees were delicious. A salad was served with the meal. The dining room gets quite noisy, but it's worth the noise to enjoy truly outstanding food."

"I ordered the Impossible burger. They only had the Beyond burger. This was the best vegan burger I’ve had. We’re coming back soon for the sausage slider. Update. We came back for the sausage sandwich the next day. It was oh so juicy and tasty. The sandwich was so big my husband finished mine. Very filling."

"I love this specific location in Avondale Estates neighborhood,they are extremely friendly, they are knowledgeable about items on the menu. make great recommendations and what I love the most is how they greeted me even though I was not wearing a face mask because they have a face mask optional policy at this specific location. now I love this because the mask tend to increase my social anxiety and I love having the option to not have my nose and face covered. they didn't mistreat me or speak to me rudely just pleasant and friendly as can be. I had the breadsticks a Greek salad that was fresh and filling. Ordered the recommended cake to go and it was divine! Not too rich yet sweet delicious."

"I had a fantastic dining experience at Ben 's Crab last night. I visited back in 2023. From the moment I walked in, Florence, the hostess, greeted me with a warm smile and helped me find the perfect table. My server, Azzura, was exceptional. She was incredibly knowledgeable about the menu and offered helpful recommendations based on my preferences and appetite. She was attentive without being intrusive, ensuring I had everything I needed throughout the meal. I want to specifically highlight the female employees as they 've gone above and beyond to make my dining experience truly memorable. The food, of course, was delicious. The garlic butter sauce was well infused with every side item and protein ordered. I would rate the sauce, an eight out of 10. I personally think CAP’T LOUI Is unmatched! But, I appreciated the garlic butter, not being overly salty to the point of repulsion. The atmosphere was lively and energetic, making for a truly enjoyable dining experience. The music was catered to the older generation (90s and 2000’s babies) with a lot of throwbacks. I highly recommend Ben 's Crab to anyone looking for a fantastic seafood dining experience. "Absolutely terrible experience! For two consecutive days, I attempted to order delivery, and each time something went wrong. Either the delivery person took the order home with them, the restaurant didn't prepare it, forgot items from our order, or got it completely wrong. I would give them zero stars if I could! Some of their food items, like the prodigies, come with onions even though the menu doesn’t mention them. Their communication with customers, employees, and delivery personnel—whether restaurant staff or third-party services like Grubhub—is subpar. Awful service all around!"

"I was visiting the area for showing one of my clients a home for sale..Being that it’s dinner time we decided to order some seafood food to go.. So we could eat while we discuss the properties we viewed..May took the order, she was extremely pleasant and polite..It took like 25 minutes for the order to be completed..The restaurant is clean, they have a great dine in area and a huge bar..They also cater for parties.. "Mediocre. Service is minimal. Dungeness crab tastes stale — the inner part of the crab is even cold. Given the fact that the crab is actually cooked, I do suspect they cooked it in advance and froze the crab. The crab meat does not taste fresh and juicy at all. The mussels are tiny, you won’t get much in the shell. Overall, not recommended, and you can easily find much better options blocks away."
