"The food was decent, but it didn't live up to the high expectations set by the reviews. The antipasti platter was okay but presented haphazardly on a small 10-inch round plate. While it tasted fine, it wasn't anything remarkable. My wife enjoyed her chicken and strawberry dish, but it wasn't anything special. My stuffed chicken wrapped in prosciutto came with an excessive amount of a sickly sweet "brandy" sauce that overflowed from the plate. Even a novice would recognize that it was far too much sauce.
The bread was cold, as if it had come straight out of a bag. To make matters worse, another server came by at 7:45 asking tables for their olive oil bottles, clearly trying to close out their checks early, which felt very tacky since the restaurant didn't close until 9:00.
The overall vibe was quite off-putting; none of the staff seemed happy, and there were no smiles to be seen, giving the impression that they didn't want to be there. After driving from Denver for a special evening with my wife, we were left feeling let down. When we tried to get our check, our server walked by our table three times without even glancing to see if we were ready."
