"Had filet mignon tacos that were great but they have steaks, burgers, appetizers. New Mexico SW dishes... spicy. Convenient parking by valet. Atmosphere was great. $50pp with alcoholic bvgs. Says kid friendly and that might be but it is a great place to go on date night. Outdoor scenery was fantastic. Only negative was the salsa. Did not care for it at all, either flavor. Overall, it was a great experience."

"We had a large party of 12 with reservations. The person that made the reservation had to sign a contract and put a $500 deposit down. We 've never heard of such a thing. The party loved the appetizers: queso and bacon-wrapped shrimp. I don 't think anyone loved their entrees but said they were just OK. I had the New Mexico Platter. It was good except for the rice which was way over seasoned and hard because of being overcooked. The service was very good but a little slow with a couple of meals. One person had to get hers to go because she had to catch a flight. That shouldn 't have happened considering we 'd already been there an hour. The last person 's meal came out almost 10 minutes after the others had already started eating. I also thought it was expensive. It was $700 for our party of 12 and that included 3 alcoholic beverages and 4 or 5 appetizers but one person ate an appetizer as their meal and another person got an ala cart item as their meal. Unfortunately, I don 't recommend this place."

"What more can I say about this place than yummy yummy yummy. As a tamale factory, they know how to represent. Additionally, the other great New Mexican dishes they serve are, without a doubt, truly authentic and full of flavor. It's a small place, so seating can sometimes be hard to find, especially if you have more than 4 in your party, but even if you have to wait a little bit, it's worth it. Finally, you can order your food to go, so do this and set your own table at home with the warm, rich aromas of the delicious red and green chili."

"My wife and I absolutely love this restaurant. In my opinion, you should skip the other franchised locations in town and come straight here—this is the original, and it truly is the best! As for parking, there’s a lot right next to the restaurant, plus a larger lot directly across the street. They also have a protected intersection for easy access."

"How did I manage to keep this place a secret from myself!? We dined in and had a truly enjoyable experience. The music was fun, the staff was friendly, and the food was delicious. I had fish tacos, and my brother had a calabacita burrito. The vegetables were so flavorful! The portions were generous, and we felt great after our meal. We'll definitely be coming back!"

"I’m literally still here inside as I write this review. Absolutely amazing! We started off with the chips and salsa (red and verde) and it was incredible. Next I got the shredded pork burrito (carne adovada) and it’s something I’ll never forget. The food was perfect balance of spicy, full of flavor, and incredibly tasty. So glad this was my first experience of some NM cuisine! The staff was friendly as well and on top of it. 10/10 recommend. Please go check this place out!"

"I’m not sure where the management is, but they really need to keep an eye on the young staff they have at the front. We placed a carryout order and noticed others were waiting long before we arrived. The young girl working there seemed to think her conversation with coworkers was more important than attending to the customers who were waiting. Eventually, someone else came out to check if we had been helped, and that’s when we finally got our orders. This was on 08/09/2024 at 4:50 PM, and we ended up waiting 30 minutes despite having called in our order 20 minutes ahead of time. It wasn't even busy! To top it off, our food was cold."
