"If you're in Mariposa, and in the mood for Mexican food, you have several options. There are no fewer than three restaurants vying for your dining dollar. But, for great food at a great price, your best option may not be a restaurant at all! Tacos Sonora is a great Mexican food truck parked on Coakley Circle every day but Sunday! The truck boasts a large menu complete with some great traditional favorites like al pastor, lengua and cabeza, as well as the old standards like chicken, beef and pork. The food is made right before your eyes by folks who know exactly what they're doing! The staff is all business, and while they're professional, accurate and civil, they do a huge volume and overtly friendly is not their thing. If you're hungry on a weekday, go early or late, because quite a line forms right at lunch time! They're open at about 9:30, and on weekdays they're there until 8. Until 4 on Saturdays, and closed Sunday. Delicious food, no frills and a manageable price! We highly recommend it!"
