"I came to try Fresheria for the first time on a Wednesday about 6pm. The restaurant has a nice decor, is very clean, and the service person taking my order at the counter was very friendly. The Special Torta (ham, pork, guac) and an Apple Salad were large, very fresh and tasty. The total cost with tax and $2 tip was $28.98. If I could make one suggestion, it would be to offer some spicy flavorings (e.g., a spicy mayo), as to my palate the two items seemed a bit bland. However, I was very happy with the visit, and would return to try other items on the menu. Recommended! And thanks to the owners for providing this nice restuarant."

"Do not recommend. I’m embarrassed that I brought my friends here for a get-together. Service was sub-par. We couldn’t get our servers attention more than half the time and had to repetitively ask for things (chip refills, missing items, drink refills) to get a response. Keep in mind this place was NOT busy maybe 5-7 tables. Drinks were filled to the brim with ice so there wasn’t much actual “drink”. Food was almost inedible due to the immense amount of smoke flavor from cooking. It was like chewing into flavored wood chips. My side of vegetables came out almost 10 minutes after receiving our entrees (after asking for it three times). When Taberna first opened up post-Covid it was a great spot to come and have a cocktail. Now it’s overpriced for the amount of drink provided, service is terrible, and food is excruciating to eat. I wouldn’t recommend spending money here and going somewhere else in Arcadia."

"Our dinner was ok, I realize it was Thanksgiving and that generally it's not the restaurant at it's best. We would have liked to have started off with an appetizer but nothing was offered. I think they were trying to rush dinner. "After a long day of travel into Denver Airport this was an easy on and off from Highway 70. Order first and then wait for them to bring your food. "What a difference two weeks can make! I had a great experience at this restaurant before, but today the food was exactly the same with only a change in dessert options. It's important to keep the experience interesting by offering different dishes each week. Unfortunately, we were also charged for the wrong alcohol option (9,000 pesos for three people!) and our waiter asked for a cash tip before his shift ended. Despite receiving poor service, we tipped him out of courtesy. We had to repeatedly ask for drinks that never came and dirty plates remained on our table for 20-30 minutes. The waiter who took over for the last 30 minutes was better, but still hinted for an additional tip on top of the full bill. We never saw a manager throughout the entire evening, which was very disappointing compared to our previous visit two weeks ago. I doubt we will be returning after this experience. I am only giving one extra point because the restaurant failed to respond to a customer who spent over $500 USD there."

"Maya's is my favorite restaurant on Oahu. My partner and I visit regularly. The food is incredible! I highly recommend the lamb empanadas, roasted Brussels sprouts skewers, baked burrata (make sure to get extra baguette), spicy chicken pinchos, and patatas bravas. The charcuterie board is excellent as well. Their drinks, Lost on Sea and Attack on Straws, are delightful. The service is always top-notch!"

"Came here to have lunch with a friend for her birthday and everything about our experience was delightful. The hostess and manager were so welcoming and we were seated right away on their stunning patio. Everything was 5 stars, from the delicious food to the thoughtfully curated drinks. "Mexican food is one of my favorites, but this place almost turned me against it. The beef burrito was terrible this can’t be an authentic Mexican restaurant the beef was unseasoned and I have never been to a Mexican restaurant that throws all the toppings inside a cold tortilla. "I wanted to leave a positive review for Fresheria Bonita, but their customer service at this location needs significant improvement. I ordered a power smoothie, but the person at the register seemed unfamiliar with the menu and struggled with handling money. We ended up waiting a long time while they repeatedly discarded the blender contents, and a staff member kept scooping something out of it. After about 20 minutes, I finally asked what was going on, and she mentioned an issue with the blender blade. At that point, I requested a refund. I wondered why they didn’t inform us sooner or if they intended to serve us a smoothie with unknown chunks. I really enjoy Fresheria Bonita’s San Diego location and will continue to visit that one instead!"

"Went last week. Tacos were okay, I would have like the cheese to be melted into the meat. Plaintains were over the top delicious. Waitresses were friendly. The one thing my sister and I both said after we left at the same time....everything felt sticky. Too much soap, not enough soap? Not sure what caused it but wipe down the menus and tables, theyre sticky. Made me a little leary of eating the salsa and chips for some reason. I stuck to the main dish. "This place offers 3 vegan tacos. We tried 2, the eggplant and the jackfruit. They were absolutely delicious, the jackfruit wasn’t quite to my taste but my husband loved it. The only down sides were the price (not super expensive but for 2 smallish tacos that fall apart in the take away box, a bit pricey) and the menu not being clearly allergy labelled. The menu listed only one of the tacos as having mole (contains nuts) on top and in reality they all do. It wasn’t a big deal as they said they can leave it off but I wouldn’t have known if I didn’t ask specifically and with no other ‘sauce’ on top it felt a bit bare. I maybe wouldn’t have gone if the menu had reflected this but only because it’s not suitable for my allergies, the food was great. 8.5/10"

"The food was incredible! It wasn't until I was halfway through my meal that I realized the entire kitchen is gluten-free. We chose this restaurant because someone in our group has gluten allergies, and I didn't even notice it wasn't a regular kitchen. It's a fantastic spot for everyone.
