"With so many great options in Nashville, I thought this one would be one of them. Boy, what a disappointment. Walked in and had to go behind the bar to find the hostess stand. The young female working it was engrossed in her phone so much so that we startled her no smile, no welcome, terrible way to enter a restaurant. Note: we had reservations so she should've been expecting people. The thing we were most excited about on the menu, the chicken skin, was not available. We were informed by the waitress that the menu was being updated. Would've been nice for there to be a note on the menu. The bacon that sounded amazing was really just glorified ham and nothing special at all. The pimento cheese was good and the fish app was very good. There was one waitress who insisted on adding a clearly contrived love, doll, or dear to the end of every interaction. She was at least years my junior. Now, I'm from the south and appreciate genuine courtesy and deference; this did not fall into that category. We ate at The Mockingbird the night before and had a delightful experience all around. We were hoping for a repeat, but the Peabody experience was a big disappointment"
