"Three of us dined there on Friday afternoon, July 1, 2011, at 5 PM. My husband and I ordered the fried oyster dinner, which came with onion rings and coleslaw. Our friend chose the steamed seafood platter. Unfortunately, the fried oysters were the worst I have ever tasted—the flavor was poor, and the batter was heavy and greasy. The onion rings also had a thick batter and were greasy as well. Our friend's seafood platter was just mediocre for the price; the crab shell was mushy, and the crab inside was too, making it difficult to eat. The melted butter tasted unpleasant. When I dipped the shrimp in it, it seemed either rancid, mixed with something else, or just old—completely inedible. While the atmosphere and service were great, I would recommend sticking to a hamburger instead."
