"I just called to order a gift card for my father for the holidays. I spoke with a gentleman I believe named Chris and he was fantastic. While they usually do not take charges over the phone and normally do E-Gift Cards I let him know the circumstance of me living in California and my father not having active email that an e-card was not likely going to work. At every opportunity him to say no he found a way to say yes. At the end of the call he then lets me know that instead of mailing this out he or someone from his establishment would drop it at my father's residence. I have been in the hospitality/restaurant business for 30 years and this gentleman that represented TPR today is an amazing representation of hospitality and superior customer service. The next time I am back east I will be sure to come in and enjoy a meal at your establishment."

"I visited Filomena Lakeview Inn at around 4:30 on Monday, Feb. 27th. The waiter initially brought two menus and a lunch special menu. I requested another lunch special menu as I was meeting a friend, but he informed me they only had 10 per section. Despite the restaurant not being busy, he eventually agreed to bring one. In the end, we decided to order from the main menu. I opted for the mustard seed crusted salmon priced at $29. I had considered the crab cakes, which I believe were $39, but the waiter mentioned that they came with mashed potatoes and mixed veggies. When I asked if I could substitute the mixed veggies for mashed potatoes and spinach, he stated that there would be an additional $5 charge for the spinach. I was taken aback by this and ultimately chose the salmon. The snarky attitude of the waiter and the $5 upcharge for spinach left a sour taste in my mouth. Despite having recommended Filomena Lakeview Inn in the past, my experience today has left me disappointed."

"I wanted to leave a cautionary review of a pizza I ordered last night. I'll preface this review by saying I've never, ever had a bad experience at Taormina's and I'm sure this was a fluke, but something to be aware of.I ordered a large buffalo chicken pizza last night and it tasted fine, but I felt there was waaay too much cheese on it. Some might consider this a plus, but the grease was substantial. On my second slice, I noticed that some of the chicken on the pizza had arteries still in the muscle, which made me question the quality of the chicken (perhaps it is repurposed from other dishes at the restaurant, or just overall low quality meat? . This made me lose my appetite for the evening, but this morning I gave the leftovers a second chance.On my first slice this morning, I bit into a large (about one inch long piece of chicken bone still in the meat. This actually hurt a bit because I wasn't expecting any bone on my pizza. I lost my appetite for the second time and will be discarding the remaining half of the pizza.I have had many meals and pizzas here and I will likely order plain pizzas in the future, as they have always been very good. I will avoid any toppings from here on in, though. Would recommend the pasta dishes and sandwiches instead!"

"I've been here a couple of times but this time it was a little disappointing. The braesola starter which I love really saved up on the mushrooms. And they were plain old mushrooms, not the fabulous wild mushrooms they had in the past. I was amazed. The pasta specifically was salty and dry. The fried calamari and prawns were very salty too. The quality of the food that goes into the meals is really top notch. In their defense, we went there right after the holiday weekend and maybe it was a little different. It won't stop us from coming back in the hope that it was an anomaly rather than the norm."

"We really enjoyed our meal at Bensi, where Pamela helped us out with ensuring that our dietary restrictions were met! For starters, we got the Beet Goat Cheese Salad and Stuffed Mushrooms. Both were delicious! For mains, we got Zucchini Parmigiana with Spaghetti, Rigatoni Cauliflower with Escarole and Beans, and Cheese Ravioli with Pasta e Fagioli. We topped it off with Tartufo and Eggless Cannoli for dessert, the latter of which the chef whipped up when we asked about cannoli and they found the cannoli shell had eggs in it (desserts are pictured). Overall, the meal was delicious, the ambiance was comfortable, and the service was excellent!"

"I started ordering for delivery pretty regularly for the past 2 months. One time, early on, they messed up my order and delivered a calzone when I ordered a pizza, but since then, it's been fine. The delivery guys are always nice, arrives when promised. When I call, they have my address on file (I guess they can tell by the tel#? so that's always convenient. The pizza is good, I get plain. I think it's reasonably priced and even better when you have a coupon. It still tastes good the next day too. (I would give the pizza a 4 . I like their pasta, my favorite is cavatelli and meat sauce. Both the sauce and pasta taste fresh with good portion sizes and good amount of meat in the sauce. (I would give it a 5 . I tried the garden side salad, it was OK. The greens were a little dry, but at least not wilted or brown. They add shaved carrots, slice of cucumber and onions. (I would give it a 3 ."

"I ordered wings and after reading reviews I was excited to order. What a dissatisfaction and disappointment. My wings were so bad that there was none that were soft, every wing was cooked so hard the meat crunched. I also ordered Tiramisu and for 6.99 the piece was so small and it was frozen solid when I went to eat it. Such a let down . I will never recommend this resteraunt thats how bad my experience was. "I went for the first time last night with a friend and ordered the cheeseburger deluxe, which comes on a kaiser roll with either onion rings or french fries. Overall, the burger was quite good and definitely satisfying. I would have preferred it cooked more toward medium instead of medium-well, and I would have liked a bit more seasoning on the patty. Since we visited late in the evening, the pizza had been out for a while, so I didn’t try it this time. I plan to give the pizza a shot on my next visit."

"Found this hidden jewel because I couldn?t get in the restaurant I planned to visit. The Penne a la vodka turned out to be the highlight of my day. It?s the best pasta I?ve ever had in the past 3 years and it definitely showed me the true form of comfort food. I?ve never found myself smiling nonstop from the second pasta was served. Definitely recommend the pasta. Tiramisu was not too sweet, super moist and flavorful, perfect match with the extra foamy cappuccino served with perfect amount of ground cinnamon on top. "I've only visited this restaurant twice for takeout, but I'm looking forward to dining in soon. The food is exceptional, and the customer service is outstanding! Both times, the staff was incredibly friendly and welcoming. Nick is especially great! I had their seafood linguine, which is the best I've ever tasted, and the portion was very generous. The moussaka was also fantastic—I had it in Greece, and this version completely lived up to my expectations! Each entrée comes with a fresh, crisp salad. The calamari is fresh and delicious, and the steak and cheese sandwich was tasty with perfectly crispy fries. As for desserts, the cheesecake and baklava are delightful! I can’t wait to try the tiramisu on my next visit. Dalia's is definitely a place I'll want to return to again and again!"

"Yum yum!. I love family owned restaurants, the extra attention to the details really makes all the difference. I have eaten many of the items on the menu, and have my favorites for sure. One word BLUE CHEESE, homemade and just about anything can be deeper into it fries, pizza, fingers, wings, even subs). I also love the Popeyes pizza which of course is made with the blue cheese). Other favorites are homemade lasagne, chicken finger subs you can get blue chz on it too) oh and eppies mini personal pizza wrap can be of any kind of pizza).
