"I heard about Willie's Pinchos from the Spanish radio stations. What I didn't know was that it was right on the street from my cousin's apartment! My other cousin visited Orlando and we make our annual dinner meeting. We usually go to Mi Viejo San Juan, which is really close to Willie, but decided to try something else. Willie's is worn out in a small stripe-like and has this classic wig Puerto Rican exterior (I say that with love). When we came in, I was immediately worshipped by the institution. It has a really cool Rican vibe and I loved the little touches they had throughout the restaurant. We were immediately welcomed and set. We ordered the carne frita with mofongo and the Bistec encebollado with mogongo. Both meats are good, although I liked the carne frita better. Steak didn't seem fresh to me. You could say it was heated again. The Monfongo was good and definitely fresh. It was soft and delicious. The little side salad would probably have been good if there was not a long dark hair in it, which ruined quite a lot a good meal otherwise. Sometimes they say staying with a good thing and not changing it. We should probably have listened in this case."
