"My husband was in the mood for fried oysters. Although not on the menu, Tyler encouraged us to come and they would do what we liked. When we got the fried oysters they weren't the Old Skool fried, O Bay seasoned oysters we're used to from Baltimore. We did have outstanding Brooklyn clam chowder and amazing soft shell crab bites (Make sure you have this!!! . But the best part? Tyler spoke to us apologized adjusted our bill because we didn't get what we expected. He noted our desire in our reservation so next time they would know. We can't WAIT to go back there! They understand oysters and they know customer service!"

"I've had the pleasure of dining a Jubon's twice now. Five years ago I fell in love with the Hallaleujah Crab and palate cleansing citrus sorbets in between courses. Last week, I observed a more casual climate with no less polish or perfection. The Maytag blue cheese beautifully complimented the summer wedge salad. Gumbo was chock full of flavor and meat. We were too full to partake of dessert, but every detail of the meal was well-thought out. Service from David Gipson was impeccable. What a gracious host! We'd come back to Jubon in a heartbeat. My only regret is that it's quite a drive from Houston."

"Went there for a Saturday night dinner. Our reservation for 2 turned into 3 at the last minute and the restaurant was able to accommodate us (it was early in the evening). Definitely old school New Orleans food. Shawn, our waiter, was fantastic gracious and easily able to navigate through the multiple food limitations we had (shellfish for one, gluten for another) My salmon was cooked as ordered and the others enjoyed their dinner as well (one had salad with grilled chicken and I can't remember the other). We ordered dessert and my bread pudding was amazing. It was a very nice evening."

"I'm surprised when I talk to Madisonians who tell me they've never been to Louisiannes. The place is the perfect gumbo from bright food, warm atmosphere and really friendly and attentive staff. For an app go with the pork crepe and the goat cheese. I like the catfish Louisianne and the tenderloin is great, but you need to get the cancer BBQ Cup. You can adjust your Sazerac to your taste sweet or dry. With Johnny Chimes as their home musician at most nights you can simply make an evening in the bar that usually has an interesting selection of locals, travelers and the occasional politics."

"What a wonderful experience! The atmosphere is a charming blend of Southern hospitality and 1800s Pennsylvania, which is a delightful combination. The food is a modern take on Southern cuisine, with clever little twists that are simply delicious. We started with the biscuits and fried green tomatoes, both of which were fantastic. For our main courses, we ordered the tenderloin, a generously-sized meatloaf, and a special pumpkin ravioli. All were outstanding, and we’ll definitely return to sample more dishes. The kids had the fried chicken and cheeseburger, and they were just as impressive as the adult meals (yes, we snuck in a bite or two). I also wish I enjoyed bourbon; they boast over 200 varieties, so I might have to cultivate a taste for it. Don’t hesitate to make a reservation!"

"This was a nice place to dine. Eclectic in their decor. The food was great. A tad higher in price than other places we've been but still very good. I ordered the crawfish platter which came with a ton of crawfish tails, fries and some corn nuggets. It was great. We had also ordered the Mattie's stuffed chicken which was also good. It’s a causal restaurant leaning towards fine dining. The server will scrap your table of crumbs almost each time they come by. The server was nice enough to pull a lobster from the tank to show my 4yo son. My only issue was that we were charged a resort fee for dining here when we did not stay here at all. We only came to have dinner here. Oh Well."

"First time here and we had a first class experience. The proprietor is a very sweet woman and greets you at the door. Fabulous wait staff and they emphasize that there is no rush in ordering all your courses but to relax and enjoy the evening. True definition of a supper club atmosphere! Our starter was Cream of Zucchini soup. Main course I had the Creole Pasta and my wife had the Cake Cake. For dessert, it was liquid form with all of their signature cocktails. A truedelight! Craig Klein and the Palm Court Jazz Band were outstanding and will leave you at the end of the night wanting more food, drink and music due to being in high spirits. You all set us up for a great weekend in NOLA and we will surelybe back our next time in town. Cheers!"

"Called on a Saturday night in November and was able to make Sunday 730pm night reservations! We ate the gumbo, crab cake, and jambalaya and all were quite tasty! Jambalaya had both shrimp and sausage and sausage was thinly sliced so you could get shrimp/sausage in every bite! The jazz music was great! The $10 music cover per person that night was worth it!!
