"Arrived early 6:00 for dinner. (With a reservation) The barroom was bustling, but the restaurant had lots of availability. Tables placed with plenty of space between them. Very comfortable. Friendly greeting and immediate seating. We made quick decisions about what we wanted to order, so off to an excellent start. Pleasantly surprised by how fast dinner arrived. Piping hot and fresh. Crisply french fries. Generous portions (but didn 't need doggie bags). No room for dessert. We drank tap water, so there were no additional charges for beverages. Reasonable prices. The dining room appears to be a family favorite. An extraordinary number of children there with parents. It 's now on our list as a special occasion destination."
