"I've visited Big John's Pizzeria several times over the years, and it's been a staple on Jamaica Avenue and 219 for as long as I can remember. My first experience there was in the early 2000s when I ordered a chicken roll and a sausage roll, both of which were quite tasty. Eventually, I tried a slice of their pizza, which was decent as well. The restaurant is clean, and the staff is courteous and friendly. This place is truly a landmark on Jamaica Avenue in Queens, and the prices are reasonable too."

"Let me just start by saying that I’ve been a loyal customer. I always order the family deal, the quality of the cheese has downgraded , the price has increased 2 times already in less than 8 months, it went from $20 to $22 now to $24, plus a card surge charge. Mind you I was informed about the first price change on the phone but recently on this order 7/30/22 I was not until I saw the receipt which wasn’t given to me. When I called to inquire about the price increase the worker who answered the phone was being rude and wasn’t being straight forward about the prices then he mentioned the “boss” changed the prices due to “everything going up” which I understood by the first price change of $22 which was about a month ago. So if you ask me if you want product not worth your money by all means, if not you can just order from any other pizzeria."

"Hands down best Italian Deli, maybe in all of NYC. I've been a repeat customer for 29 years along with my entire family. Fresh mozzarella made everyday, The guys that work there…don't just go through the motions, they actually make the sandwich the way, they would want their sandwich made.
