"I was in Lime Springs with my band for Sweet Corn Days and we were looking for a spot to escape the sun. The Dam Bar turned out to be the perfect choice. Since I don’t drink, I can’t comment on the alcoholic options, but I did have a diet Pepsi from a cold bottle, which hit the spot. We also ordered some food, which was your typical bar fare—fried cheese, chicken strips, and the like. The service was good, and even though it felt very much like a local hangout and everyone knew we weren’t from around there, I never felt out of place. I would definitely return if I come back for Sweet Corn Days in the future."
