"my fiancée and I visited here on 10 september while we were on vacation. I was excited to taste the food, which thought we would have authentic fresh Mexican food, and it didn't get so challenged. we first ordered the chicken nachos and our chips were as delicate as when they were? ve was heated in the microwave, then we ordered the barbacoa tacos and the enchiladas. they are really good, but our main question was with the enchiladas. we have told our server that they do not taste very pleasant, I could burn froster. the server went and got the owner or the chef, I'm not sure, but I explained that they were not good and we didn't want them, they continued to say how they were? re them best sellers and that they were fresh daily and maybe we? re just didn't get used to the taste. she was really controversial. She finally took her off our bill, but her attitude was disgusting."

"We opted for the molcajete mixto and the queso birria. Both dishes arrived quickly and were served piping hot. The molcajete was brimming with delicious ingredients, including a satisfying amount of meat and shrimp nestled in the sauce. The grilled cheese slices included were fantastic—crispy, salty, and with a fun squeaky texture. I highly recommend trying the molcajete! As for the queso birria, I usually prefer the version made with goat, but Los Molcajetes uses beef, and it was still delightful. The exterior was nicely crunchy, while the interior was packed with tender meat and gooey cheese. Served alongside a cup of consomme for dipping, it made for a wonderful meal. Overall, we had a fantastic experience, and with such a diverse menu, we’re looking forward to returning!"

"The woman working there had difficulty speaking English, and unfortunately, she left my order on the counter for 25 minutes while preparing some burgers. If someone struggles with basic English communication, perhaps it's best for them to consider returning to Mexico."

"The Line Begins Behind Me. Just when you think you figured it all out. . . someone throws you a curve. I thought I understood all about Mexican food. To me it all tastes pretty good. Some Mexican and Tex-Mex restaurants are better than others, and I guess there are few bad ones in North Texas but what fooled me was how great Los Molcajetes really is. I don't know what they do, but from the salsa and tortilla chips they serve at the table, to the entree it is magnificent. They serve two salsas a thin, rustic tomato-based pico de gallo type salsa which has a definite cilantro tang, and a piquant habanero salsa which comes in a smaller plastic cup. A little of this goes a long way. I had the mole enchiladas (see photo). Their version of this popular dish was great! They have about twenty different daily lunch specials. Curiously, I used to think that this restaurant was sort of fancy, but it is very casual with concrete floors, wooden tables and several televisions hanging throughout the main dining area. They also have a full bar. The food came out really fast too. The server remarked that after the lunch crowd the food preparation takes no time at all. What a surprise this was to find such a good restaurant in my neck of the woods. You learn something new everyday!"

"After 6 years, we have still not had a bad meal at this restaurant. We ordered delivery through Door Dash, and the order arrived correct, warm, delicious, and quickly. The food was amazing. They will soon be relocating to 529/Hwy 6. They were thoughtful enough to include both fresh and pickled Jalapenos in the order. What a great idea! The food is very tasty with plenty of options for vegetarians as well as some delectable meat dishes for non-vegetarians. I highly recommend trying the steak tampiquena, it is truly a delight. I have yet to sample the seafood dishes, but since we visit frequently, it is on my list to try soon. The service is good and they even have outdoor seating available."

"This place has so much potential to be amazing, highly profitable and popular sports bar. Sadly what they lack in morals for a quick small gain will kill the business in the long run, as reviews and word of mouth get out. Tonight was my first time herewith my friend, great environment amazing music very happy to be here initially. after ordering food and drinks, well overtipping and complementary to waitress on her hard work and making sure that she 's well taken care of financially for the hardwork that she 's putting in. I am instead greeted with Low morals and lack of trust as I pay for a five dollar drink with a $20bill and ask her just to bring $12 back (pretty amazing tip for one drink that cost $5) and The tips like that kept going on thefood and all the other drinks I got before this. So after about 20 minutes goes by I have to go up and ask for the $12 that shetold me she was going to come back with. Her explanation was oh I was just going to hold onto the cash just in case you wantedto order another drink nope that has never happened to me ever in 100+ bars. All this to say I am here to spend money be niceand cordial and overpay for good service, but I do not want to be finessed or robbed or played games with my money. This wasobviously a play by the bartender to hope that I was drinking and would forget about the $12 that she could pocket at the end ofthe night when I left and forgot about the money. Sad to see very frustrated when I am nice complementary, and overtip time andtime again and get treated with this kind of service."

"Email was sent to inquire about vegan options. I received email reply next day; we liked the vegan offerings that were listed on email. Called today to place our order curbside. Asked Jorge again about the vegan options, ordered portobello mushroom tacos and street tacos al carbon non vegan). Curbside pickup was easy, Jorge was friendly and courteous! Best was yet to come! Vegan tacos with charro beans rice were awesome, per my wife! My street tacos al carbon were also awesome. Chips and salsa red green) came with the order. Chips and salsa were excellent. Jorge, you got a winner! We’ll be back soon!"

"I Have not been to this reduction since the early 2000's. The food was as good as i remember. The waitress/host was a real joy to visit with. She gave us excellent service with the exception of bringing the food before the drinks. Service was exactly what I wanted and the food was 5 star. Believe it or not their steak fingers are the BOMB!! And really good too."
