"The best pizzeria in South Nassau! They took very good care of us during the pandemic and were always cheerful. You can't go wrong with anything you order. The whole wheat pizza is fabulous! For my birthday they sent me a coupon for a free personalized pan pizza. It was incredible and enough for 4. The slices were heavy because they are loaded with cheese. It blows away my memories of Pizzaria Uno. The calzones are old school Brooklyn. They are also very filling and made with good quality ingredients. The manager even called me to see how I liked the pizza. Once again, the best pizza on Long Island! Thank you, Mario's !"

"Went for lunch. Very affordable, very thin pizza. Crust wasn't soggy but wasn't crispy either. If I had not ordered pick up I suspect the crust would have been 5X better. So either order online and have reasonable expectations or order in person for what I suspect is a much better experience."

"I ordered a few things. The only thing that was good was the baked ravioli which was fine. I would recommend this. The fries were flimsy. Not crisp at all. Didn't even taste seasoned. The mozzarella in the mozzarella sticks was not fully melted. It also only comes with five mozzarella sticks which were each about the size of my thumb. They were half the size of what other mozzarella sticks are, they didn't taste good, and there's so few of them for the price. Lastly I ordered a grandma pie and their grandma pie is unlike any grandma pie I have ever seen or heard of. It was not good. Can't even tell if there is cheese on it. Definitely can't taste it. The sauce isn't sweet at all like a grandma pie is supposed to have. It resembles more a of a flatbread with very light sauce and cheese than a grandma pie. Finally, I checked leave at door because I live with other people and a dog all of whom get riled up at a knock on the door. The delivery driver not only didn't leave it at the door, they didn't even knock. They just opened the door to my home. Very unhappy with this order especially since it was like $50"

"As local as possible. That's a jewel. The pizza. It brings you back to the old country. Thin crust. Good tomatoes. Big cheese. Enough of the pizza. The shrub. There's this magic. Deviate from the pizza go for the main. They won't be disappointed. The grilled salmon is better than many fish restaurants specializing in fish specialities. Total. A place not to drive and ignore. Head for the doors and enjoy. I eat here at least once a week. Great food. Extremely affordable healthy foods."

"If I could I would give them zero stars, yesterday I called in an order I asked for specific instructions, first they said ok then I called back to add something, I was virtually told to take a hike, not only did the girl who takes the orders was rude she said they could not accommodate my request. I ordered from many places and never received this kind of treatment. Never again will I give this place business"

"Pizza was delicious. This was my first time trying this location in the many times that I’ve been here visiting or even living. The sesame seed pizza crust is amazing. The pizza was soft, yet crispy and overall just delicious. Cheesy, saucy and everything. Chicken roll was also really good along with the sausage and pepper roll. I wasn’t such a fan of the personal pizza, but it was alright. I can’t say enough good things about the pizza though. Maybe it’s because I’ve been craving New York pizza, but it was amazing!"

"I been going to pizza parlor forever since they opened on south shore with my girlfriend. I was happy when I heard they were opening up one on North shore near my house because I live on Ada drive..Honestly the food is just as amazing as their other store, the staff is great, the manager is a nice guy and the owner has always been good to my girlfriend and I, we order almost every Thursday night and sometimes Saturday night when she comes over by me (not as fun for me ordering anymore cause of diet but I still enjoy their potato eggs and grilled chicken lol).. Definitely a way better replacement to any other local pizzerias in the area"

"Ive been going to this pizzeria for years and it's my favorite pizza spot. Their specialty slices are delicious, their staff is super nice and their garlic knots are legendary. The buffalo chicken slice, stuffed chicken parm slice and their francese slice are my favorites. Ive had their pastas and they usually hit the spot. The reason for 4 stars and not 5 is because sometimes the chicken they serve tastes old and ive gotten sick a few times from the food. Almost like the chicken has been in the fridge for one or two days too many. It has that taste sometimes, but most of the time it doesn't."

"I literally just had two slices of their buffalo chicken pizza and I'm definitely ordering from them again. The chicken is flavorful topped with a respectful amount of buffalo sauce on top. Mozzarella cheese to top it off . Delicious. Update its now July 5th, 2019. Since my last post I've tried their cheese steak pizza , their stromboli , their garlic knot chicken parm sandwich, and finally but not least, their beautiful plain pizza. You need to have it ."

"I attempted to place an order with Joey's Pizza through DoorDash, but my driver was given the wrong order. Instead of mine, I received someone else's meal intended for a person named Ruben, which came with their phone number and specific order details. When I contacted Joey's Pizza to address this issue, they informed me that no manager was available and insisted it wasn't their problem. They suggested I call a phone number but didn’t provide any guidance, even though they were the ones who prepared and packaged the food. They assert that DoorDash is to blame."

"This was our first time ordering from Frankie's and realized they have a brand new owner and if he is the reason the food is amazing then bravo you are doing an amazing job sir. My pictures only show some of the food because it smelled too good to wait to dig in. The chicken wings we ordered a large ? and it was crispy outside juicy goodness inside. They didn't cheat us out of sauce we got plenty. We could have tossed the wings ourselves with the amount of sauce provided. The garlic knots WOWWWW ??? not many get these right. We ordered 2 because they are normally small but not these, they were huge which I appreciate. They were crispy outside, soft inside and it was the perfect amount of garlic. It wasn't overpowering or overcooked they were delicious. Sauce was enough for all garlic knots and was not just a prepackaged sauce. The pizza ? ? ? ? We ordered an 18' The pizza was cheesy but not runny, the crust was crispy and it was absolutely worth it. It was made to perfection honestly. The delivery was fast and the food was still hot when it got here. This has become our new favorite pizza spot."
