"This Chinese restaurant is my favorite, and it is conveniently located near me. I appreciate that they include an egg roll and a rib with their special meals. I have been a patron for 40 years, and I am pleased to see that the restaurant is now being run by the children, who have all grown up. The food is delicious, and they are willing to make changes to the dishes to accommodate my preferences. Unfortunately, they have not yet reopened for dine-in service, which is a disappointment."

"Called in an order for take-out today. Instructed to pick up the order at Fusion Taste on Montvale Ave which is apparently owned by the same family. We went back and forth with our order and ended up ordering all chicken dishes. Salt pepper chicken wings, general gaus (as spelt on the menu) and chicken fingers with a side of white rice. The wings definitely stood out as the best thing we ordered. Seasoned well and very crispy. On the opposite side of the spectrum, the chicken fingers were really soggy and chewy. Hardly any tempora batter coating them The general gaus was a big portion for what you pay and paired nicely with the rice. However, there was almost no heat in the sauce and found myself adding sriracha to give it a kick. For $45, we were a little disappointed with our takeout order but we'll need to try some more things before we write this restaurant off"

"We arrived at the restaurant shortly after 6:30pm. As we entered, we noticed that a group of three women behind us were greeted before us, which we found strange. We were seated at a table and ordered an appetizer. Unfortunately, the Crab Rangoons and sauce were terrible. However, the Hot and Sour soup was good. My entree was overwhelmed with sauce, the vegetables were undercooked, and despite being listed as spicy, it was sweet like pancake syrup. It seems that this restaurant may have been better in the past, but it appears they have lost their passion for cooking. The prices are excessive for the quality of the food. We felt there was no value for what we received on our plates, and it seemed more like a place for the wealthy to spend money and socialize. We will not be returning. "Food was great, service not so much. Food was brought out (sushi) but no plates, set there for about 10 minutes finally had to get up catch the waiter and ask for plates. The service did not change through the dinner. Same thing with drinks my wife and my self-had wine never came back to ask if we would like another glass of wine. The fastest thing that came out was the bill. Would recommend Hakka Chow for the food only. Looking for another place with similar food but only with better service."

"This is a lovely Malaysian Restaurant probably of the best in Queens. The interior design isn’t too lively but the colors are bright enough to take good pictures. Parking isn’t really a problem. There’s plenty of parking everywhere around Queens Blvdand Austin St. If you don’t need meat this restaurant has a perfect vegetarian menu. The prices are great and the portions aregood enough to share. This restaurant probably has the best customer service in Forest Hills. All the waiters and waitresses areattentive and friendly. You don’t need to make reservations or wait at all to get a table. One of my favorite things aboutthis restaurant besides the food is the environment. I don’t have too many negatives except for the bathroom. It feels likeyou leave a nice restaurant to go through a maze to get to their bathroom in the basement. "This was the best Chinese take-out we've had in decades! This place has absolutely ruined us for Chinese food in our home state. Be careful what you order because the servings are pretty big. We ordered what we'd consider to be a regular meal but had a lot of leftovers. The food was piping hot and delivered in what felt like 10 maybe 15 minutes at most. There's no way we're going back to key west and not eating here again.."

"This place holds a special place in my heart because they were open late on the 4th of July when no one else was my boyfriend and I were able to eat some pretty tasty food because of it. In terms of weather, this year's 4th of July was trash. It was hella overcast, humid, drizzly. I'm from California was in the DMV visiting my boyfriend who really wanted me to have a great Fourth like the ones at home, but the plans of cookouts fireworks got rained out. We ended up finding Eddie's on Yelp phoned to place our order: chicken chow mein, shrimp fried rice, wonton soup, fried chicken with fries, I think General Tsao's for my boyfriend. Everything was really good. The chow mein was freshly made the rice wasn't greasy at all. The wontons were made with a much thicker noodle than I am used to, but they were really flavorful. The fried chicken was a little dry even though we had asked twice for it, we weren't given mumbo sauce. Anyway, we had a delicious Chinese buffet on the couch for the 4th of July it was great!"

"First time trying authentic dim sum! Great experience! We were there on a Sunday afternoon--within 5 minutes of sitting down, we were visited by several carts being trundled about with stacks of steamed dumpling canisters, fried tidbits, bit of everything. Slightly odd as there was no visible menu; as you order, your choices are tallied onto a check and sorted into S/M/L and specialty plates. Probably could have asked for a menu but we were so excited by all the tantalizing offerings we never bothered. Careful though, easy to run up a tab if you're not paying attention. Food was incredible, tried about 10 different dishes, everything from green onion dumplings to crispy duck breast to a house special sauteed greens. Overall, great experience, great food, great service. Highly recommended, especially if you've got a few friends to sample shared bites together."

They hired a new cooker and waiter. I always order their foods when I worked so hard from my job and school. It saved my life and my stomach. "Peony Pavilion 2.0 has made its entrance, and I believe it's an improvement. The area has become saturated with Asian fusion restaurants, so PP's shift to a more authentic menu featuring dishes like jellyfish and beef tendon is a refreshing change. The closure of the sushi bar is not a major loss. While they may not cater to everyone's tastes, they definitely satisfied mine. However, I can see why those expecting the original Peony Pavilion may be disappointed, especially since the OpenTable menu is no longer available. The menu on Weebly is fairly accurate, except for the sushi offerings. I thoroughly enjoyed the sizzling tofu with red pickled pepper and egg, as well as the refreshing cucumber salad to start. The service was friendly and efficient, reminiscent of the service at Sunny Garden."
