"There are a few places in the Bay area that offer food from the state of Maharashtra (India).Swaraj India is definitely one of the best ones. The food here tastes authentic and reminds me of food back home. Its a bit on the spicy side, which I like. This time I got the food delivered. The food was packed well and there were no spills on the way.1. Kolhapuri Chicken Rice Plate: This comes with rice, roti and papad on the side. It is spicy! And flavorful. Complements the region this dish comes from (which is know for its spicy food).2. Kolhapuri Vegetable Rice Plate: This comes with the same sides as the chicken and is spicy as well.3. Pav bhaji: I loved this. Reminded me of eating the same thing at Juhu beach in Mumbai.4. Vada Pav: Taste was very similar to what you get in Mumbai. Also the dry chutney is really good, and of course spicy.5. Matki Bhel: I liked their take on the regular bhel. The moong beans tasted good with the rest of the ingredients.6. Sev Puri: Many places serve this, but this place sent everything separate (as a kit). That way the puris were not soggy. Also a lot of different places serve this dish using the puris used for pani puri (thats not sev puri +1 for staying authentic and using flat puris.7. Pani puri: The pani was nice and spicy. And they gave a generous amount of stuffing.Needless to say, I'll order again.P.S. I feel I'hv used the word spicy a lot in this review :D"

"I was excited to try a new snack place, and we odes a few things to try. Ordered for delivery popcorn chicken, fried tofu, curly fries, summer melon drink, Thai iced tea, dirty Boba, regular classic Boba drink.Let's start with the drinks.1. Summer melon was okay but wasn't sweet enough. There were bits of watermelon floating in the drink and maybe some bitsof lemon. Unfortunately, the watermelon wasn't ripe, and it tasted like they used the white part of the watermelon rind. ? The Boba tasted just okay, it had enough chew but didn't have that honey sweet taste to it like other places make it.2. Dirty Boba was mediocre with hardly any brown sugar taste. It tastes like just a regular milk tea drink.3. Thai ice tea was okay.4. Classic Boba was just okay... nothing really to write about other than it was a bit bland. Now let's talk about the food...1. Popcorn chicken was beyond disappointing... it would have made the chicken that it came from very ashamed and disgusted. On the outside it looks good, but once you pop it in your mouth it feels like you are eating a wad of cardboard. Not only was it dry, but it was hardly seasoned. I had to put garlic salt on it to make it taste ok, but then I had to dip it in a sauce to hide the dryness of the meat. The other disappointing thing was that the majority of the pieces of chicken were tiny. It looked like someone used the tiny dregs of meat and balls of flour from the bottom of the flour bin to cook and sell.2. Deep fried tofu was another disappointing snack that tasted as bland as a white piece of paper. Someone must have had a bag day or was too busy to pick up the seasoning shaker to flavor the tofu. Also, they must be saving cooking gas because the oil they used was not up to temp to properly fry the tofu. You can tell because the outside coating of the tofu absorbed all the oil and didn't properly crisp the outside. Yes I know it was delivered and it couldn't be crisp by the time it got to me but I've had experience buying fresh deep fried tofu from Oakland Chinatown and driving it all the way home five cities away and the outside of the tofu was still hard.3. Curly fries... I don't normally order this but my daughter likes them. The curly fries were okay.. seasoning was fine. I think the fries were the best thing in my whole order with the drinks coming in second.Overall, I wouldn't go back unless I totally forgot about this place and accidentally visited or ordered from them again. ?"

"I very rarely if ever take the time of day to write reviews but this experience was life changing like actually. I had the plate with a ground beef kabob and that delicious schwarma meat. Let me tell you something. eating that schwarma meat is so dang good itll make you have a flashback to your childhood like that scene with the reviewer from ratatouille. like fr it was THAT GOOD.On top of that you have a delicious ground beef kabob that was roasted over the grill so perfectly. on top of that you get a lot of delicious filler buttered rice that just compliments the whole dish perfectly and you get a huge portion. AND if that wasnt already enough, you get a nice wholesome salad all in one huge plate. Itll fill even the hungriest customers and feel like such a complete meal that youll find yourself like me cleaning the whole plate! everything has its place!I reserved my review because i wanted to give nami no; their competitor a try and ill be honest. its awesome too. BUT the meal wasnt as complete as the one youll get here at gyros and more. and the pricing is a couple bucks less for these huge plates thats practically the same over there but no salad. you get roasted chili peppers and a whole tomato which is okay but should be like here and default with that salad.Nami no is a 4.9 but gyros and more gets that little extra step ahead sitting at a SOLID 5 all day! From getting a complete meal, getting a chance to try that LIFE CHANGING SCHWARMA, or that price thats a little more on the reasonable side of things. These are the things that makes gyros and more THE GO TO spot for some GREAT FOOD. will return :"
