"I went here for a light breakfast and it was very nice for a small deli. I honestly didn't expect quality but got it. I will definitely come back. If you're looking for a small bite and want convenience mixed with quality then this is the place. When I walked in it was quiet but was quickly greeted by a friendly person for service which was generous. The prices are comparable to other places but I felt I got a lot for my money which made it even better. Located in a nice neighborhood right off JFK Blvd. I am so glad I stepped in to try it out, it was well worth it for me."

"The food arrived nearly an hour late. The first delivery driver had to leave after waiting over 30 minutes. My sunny-side-up eggs were overcooked, while the home fries were tasty, though they were simply regular fried potatoes. The pancake platter was disappointing; the pancakes were quite small. I wish I had ordered from my usual diner instead."

"Our first order was the Mediterranean lamb served on a salad base with hummus and pita, and it was outstanding. No more need to go to Halal Guys! The lamb was tender and juicy, and the salad fresh. The next day, we tried the Mongolian beef with brown basmati rice—my favorite rice—and it was delicious. We also had the Hawaiian-style beef burger, which was good. Keep in mind it’s cooked well-done by default, but they’re happy to cook it to your liking if you ask. Jimmy, the owner, is very friendly, and I wish the team all the best. We’ll definitely be regulars. Update: I recently tried the Flaming Nuclear-style falafel veggie burger, and it was amazing!"

"I used to go to this place in Cary all the time, it used to be one my husbands and I favorite spots, but it is changing there. I am not sure what?s going on. For example one of the things I always did with my veggie platter was get each item on a small separate plate. Rather than a big plate with all the food touching. It really bothers me when my food touches, and they used to always allow you to put your sides on separate small plates instead of one big plate. Last time"

"If you have had The Halal Guys in Manhattan, you know how good it can get. The Gyro Shop gets it almost there if not all the way! Their rice is perfect, the white sauce is awesome and creamy, the chicken and lamb are full of flavor, and portions are great! Their lamb sandwich is also great!!! The fries and sides are ok, but i would stick to the basics! You won’t go wrong with these guys!"

The gyros are generously sized and offer three types of meat, including lamb, which is my personal favorite—no gyro feels complete without lamb. I've consistently enjoyed excellent customer service during my visits. While the wait time may be a little longer than at a fast-food restaurant, even during less busy hours, it's because most dishes are made to order, and your patience will definitely be rewarded. If you're in a hurry, I highly recommend trying the samosas or meat patties instead; they’re just as delicious and prepared more quickly. You'll also find a great selection of toppings for most menu items, giving you lots of options. I highly suggest adding the white sauce to everything—if I could, I’d dip my samosas and meat patties in it!"

"this place is such a great sound! flavor was great of everything ordered, quantity and quality was excellent, and service was fast and friendly! we had the bark stew, who had a great and unique taste, and we also got the curry pad tai, who lived in a definitiw until his name spicy. we love to happiness! the fresh crimps that came with the stew just made everything so fresh and tasteful! we will definitely return!"

"My wife and I visited this restaurant with two friends. We found the food to be good, the prices reasonable, and the service was quick. You have to stand in line while they prepare your order, and even with no one ahead of us, it took over five minutes for our order to be ready. I can imagine that if there had been a line, it would have taken much longer. I ordered the Gyro Platter, and I enjoyed it; the portion size was just right for me. However, I can understand how some might find it small. One of the older ladies in our group felt her portion was quite large. Overall, my wife was really happy with her meal as well."

"The entire experience was unsettling. The staff were young and unfriendly and lacked any personality. The food was ok but the Pho was over sweetened. While eating I noticed something orange stuck to my bowl, it was dried food. I alerted the server and was told that he would take it back. He immediately returned and said that his boss said that it was something that dried on the bowl from the few minutes it traveled from kitchen to table. I immediately paid my check and left. This place although authentic looking, lacks character and customer service. Pho Far East is much better.... will not be returning, look elsewhere to eat..."
