"Once we were seated, it took some time for our rolls to arrive. We decided against the all-you-can-eat option since we usually order just two rolls each. I chose the tiger roll, fire roll, and a jalapeño roll. They were decent, but with soy sauce and wasabi, they were much tastier. The rolls were thinly sliced and not very compact, which caused them to fall apart when we dipped them. I requested spicy mayo, but unfortunately, it never made it to our table.
The two sisters working as waitresses were hustling around to serve customers, which is great to see, but they could really use more staff help, especially since they were also handling phone orders and cashing out customers.
I'm not sure if I would return; there was nothing particularly negative about the experience, but I just didn’t find the sushi to be the best I’ve had. I do appreciate the reasonable prices for the rolls, but the $4.25 for soda seemed a bit excessive. Thank you to the restaurant for serving the community—it's great to see the history of how they got started, which is detailed on their website."
