"I first ordered from Song's in 2006 and I can still hear the original owner's voice in my head when I call to place my order. It's amazing to think back on how they used to remind me to contribute to their son's college fund before paying. Despite many years passing since then, I recently ordered from Song's for the first time in about 3-4 years. It seems that things have changed a bit, with a new decor and brighter lighting in the restaurant. The owner, an older man, was very kind and had my order ready when I arrived. The prices have gone up a bit, which is expected considering inflation. When I got home, I was excited to dig into my meal. The presentation of the teriyaki was still the same, but the shrimp tempura was different. It was not butterflied this time, which made it look smaller than I remembered. The teriyaki sauce was a bit disappointing, as it had an overwhelming ginger flavor that was too much for my taste. The chicken was cooked well, but I struggled to enjoy it with the sauce. The shrimp tempura, however, was delicious. Overall, my experience was just okay and it may be some time before I order from Song's again. Despite this, they still hold a special place in my heart."
