"I’m currently exploring all the local eateries around the GSU campus, and my latest stop is Mr. Hibachi. The restaurant has a compact layout with bar-style tables and chairs, which means you're likely to be seated close to strangers. I noticed in another review that someone spotted cockroaches as soon as they entered, but thankfully, I didn’t encounter any pests during my visit. The food is classic hibachi style, featuring options like chicken, beef, or shrimp for most entrees, along with a limited selection of side dishes. I tried the Steak Hibachi with a side of fried shrimp, and it was decent. It had that recognizable hibachi taste, but there wasn’t anything particularly unique about the flavor. It was primarily just steak and steamed rice—satisfactory, but not exceptional. The staff was friendly, but I did notice some minor communication hiccups; I overheard another customer having to repeat their order several times because the cashier seemed confused. Overall, I would rate Mr. Hibachi a solid 8/10. I would definitely return if I’m looking for a rice-based meal on campus."
