"I decided to try a new Chinese place for a special night. Overall I was disappointed in my pickup order, and was expecting much better food based on the favorable reviews and the prices. I paid over $30 for 2 entrees, one with “fried” rice, and an order of cream cheese wontons. The wontons were good, but the rest of the food not so much. The sesame chicken was barely ok but too much breading and it was sitting in over 1/2” of oil in the bottom of the container and most of the pieces were soggy. I poured the oil out before giving to the person it was ordered for. The “fried”rice was nothing more than yellow colored rice with a few peas and tiny carrot pieces and specks of onions. The schezwan beef was the worst. There was nothing schezwan about it, as far as flavor. The strongest flavor was of oil, and I don’t know what kind but it didn’t taste good at all. The beef must have been cheap and soaked in oil to make it tender because it had NO texture of beef, it was just slimy from oil. The vegetables in it were nothing special, didn’t seem fresh. The sauce was terrible. It wasn’t spicy at all and the taste was unrecognizable except for the oil again. I guarantee you the oil they use is very cheap, probably canola. They need to cut back on the oil and add some flavor and good spices. A lot of these reviews have got to be fake, because I can’t believe there would be many raving reviews for their food. I won’t be returning. Very disappointed."

"Jin Jin is hands down the best Chinese restaurant I’ve ever been to! I even drove all the way from Mississippi just to pick up a takeout order because it’s that incredible. One of the reasons I was so excited to move back to my hometown is that I now live just 10 minutes away from Jin Jin, so I can enjoy it whenever I want. JIN JIN IS AMAZING!"

"Love their food! Good size proportions. Family operated, everyone there goes above and beyond to make the meals in a timely manner. My fiancé I were worried they might not reopen, but they did and we're there at least twice a week. I strongly recommend the Shrimp Fried Rice, Egg Rolls, Shrimp Rolls their excellent Shrimp Lobster Sauce. We make sure to order the Chicken on a Stick with every visit. The take out dishes are microwavable too, sturdy and reusable! Great deal for your money. I can't say anything about the spices dishes, but all the non spicey items we've purchased were absolutely delicious."

"I first discovered Ichiban years ago when they offered a wonderful 50% off deal on sushi, which made me an almost weekly customer. Sadly, Covid and inflation have caused that deal to go away, but even so the food is still very good, and the prices are in-line with the other sushi restaurants in the area. The restaurant does look a little threadbare though these days and could use an update. Also, while their menu is sufficiently diverse, they don 't offer any daily or seasonal specials that might make things a bit more exciting. That said, I really enjoyed my meal tonight. The staff and chef remember their regular customers and treat them well. When I came in, I was welcomed warmly and greeted by name, even though I haven 't been there in at least six months. To start, I had a simple green salad with the ubiquitous ginger-carrot dressing that can be found at virtually every Japanese restaurant in the country. The greens were crisp and fresh, and it was a nice way to start the meal. What came next was both unexpected and quite delicious. I was presented with a complementary appetizer from the chef that 's not on the menu. It was strips of fish tempura (some kind of white fish) that was drizzled with eel sauce and spicy mayo and topped with masago. For my main course I chose a double portion of their California Earthquake appetizer, which is essentially a California Roll that 's been coated in tempura batter and deep fried. It 's served with the same eel sauce and spicy mayo drizzle that was on the complimentary appetizer. This is a dish I 've been ordering for a long time, and truth be told, it was what I came to Ichiban for this evening. I 'm normally not much of a sushi roll guy. I prefer traditional nigiri sushi, but I 'm a sucker for this roll. The combination of the hot crispy coating, the creamy avocado, the crunchy cucumber and delicate kani, along with the spicy/sweet sauce is borderline addictive. I can 't really recommend Ichiban as a destination restaurant, but if you live or work nearby, or even if you just haven 't been to Ichiban in a while, it is definitely worth checking out."

"BEWARE OF CHINESE DELIVERY GUY!! He takes his own tip without even waiting for you to offer him a tip . This is his second time doing this to me) he picks and chooses who to do it to.Either give him the exact amount or expect to be robbed because that’s how it felt. Not to mention he’s very rude absolutely no professionalism. Imagine someone feeling entitled to your money. And the sad thing is I was fully prepared to give him the whole 20 dollars being that my food was about $14….but when you’re greedy like that he deserved NOTHING !! Will never do delivery with this place again ."

"Overall, the food was good. We visited for dinner around 8:30 PM on a Saturday night, and the restaurant was not very busy. The service was satisfactory at first, but around 8:50 PM, it seemed like all the staff took a break. We tried to be patient and waited for our server to check on us, which he eventually did—about 15 minutes after we finished our meal. While the food itself was enjoyable, the dirty windows and dusty window treatments left a sense of uncleanliness. I'm giving it 4 stars, hoping that the service improves during peak hours. I might consider ordering takeout in the future."

"We were staying in the Homewood Suites just up the road and craving Chinese food we checked the reviews and off we went to Ky Lin. The name implies that this is a Chinese restaurant but it is much more; Malaysian and other Asian specialties. Service was friendly and prompt. We had takeout and everything was appropriately packed hot food was hot cold food was cold. We shared the seafood lemon grass a.k.a. Tom Yum it was large enough for three servings. Spicy fresh and very satisfying. The shrimp egg foo young was yummy, perhaps a little greasy as a egg foo young can be. Especially enjoyed the vegetable pan fried noodles; crispy noodles with fresh vegetables cooked to perfection. Without hesitation I would order from this Asian restaurant again. The restaurant was small offering delivery and takeout although there was one table for dining in."

"I ordered the Pineapple Chicken and Chicken Chow Mein. I never seen Pineapple chicken just cooked, the chicken was not fried, had a lot of vegetables and mushrooms in there. The Chicken Chow Mein came with rice not noodles, and was not fried. I called the restaurant about the order, and was told by Cindy, not sure if that's her real name. She gave that name when I asked, that's how they make their food. I'm allergic against mushrooms and the Pineapple chicken looked disgusting. I guess I expected sympathy and an offer of a different dish, but nothing. I live 20 minutes away from the restaurant and ordered from there several times before. That will not happen again. I wasted my money and was not offered an replacement for the awful food. There is no description about the dishes online. Pineapple Chicken the meat is fried. It is made like sweet sour with fresh Pineapple, some restaurants put green peppers in the dish. Chow Mein is made with thin noodles and fried, not made with rice.I asked for the owner, but was not provided with the persons name. I'm really upset about wasting my money, I did not eat the food.I added a picture of both dishes to this post.Horrible customer service."

"I've had two issues in just one week at this restaurant. The first incident was with the shrimp in the spicy red curry soup, which was overcooked. When I spoke with the kitchen manager, he acknowledged the problem, explaining that the order was spicy and the shrimp had been cooked twice. My second complaint was regarding the fried rice, which contained a piece of metal from a scrub pad. However, the kitchen manager refused to take my call, stating that he only handles complaints for same-day orders. I find that completely unreasonable. Given these experiences, I won’t be returning to or ordering from this restaurant again. I’m just thankful we noticed the metal before we started eating; I can’t imagine what could have happened otherwise."

"The food was disappointing. Our appetizers were served at different times, and we even received the wrong one initially. All the hot dishes came out lukewarm, and the flavors were just average. To make matters worse, they kept running out of menu items—my table was told they didn’t have the sake I ordered, and the table next to us was informed they were out of shrimp. Additionally, we had to wait a long time for our barely warm dishes to arrive. My sister’s dinner came 15 to 20 minutes before the rest of ours, which was frustrating. Overall, I don't think I would return to this restaurant. I’m not sure if they were just having an off night or if this is their usual operation, but it certainly didn’t leave a good impression."
