"I'm from Chicago, and I have to say that Californians really don’t know what good pizza, hot dogs, or gyros are. You all are too forgiving towards imitations. When you look at a gyro in your hand, it should be filled with a generous portion of thinly sliced gyro meat from the spit, not just a heap of soggy vegetables that cover up the fact that there’s very little actual meat—all pre-cut and warmed-up chunks instead of slices. This is done for their convenience and savings, not for your enjoyment. You deserve better than these fake gyros! You really should be aware of this. They need to improve. I recommend trying Petra Greek in Sacramento or Folsom and comparing. They’re the only ones I’ve found that are authentic. I've tried them all!"
